The house next to Muse A has been empty for the past sixteen years, and the window to the attic happens to the perfect distance from Muse As bedroom window. During their childhood, all it took was a ladder and a how-to video on picking locks for them to discover the perfect hide away. Fairy lights, a sleeping bag, favorite books, photos and drawings tacked up all over the walls Over the past years, Muse A has converted it to the perfect escape from constantly fighting parents and insufferable siblings.
Coming back from a summer long vacation, Muse A is eager to return to their safe haven- Only to discover that Muse B has turned the attic into their bedroom. Apparently, during their absence, Muse Bs family moved in next door.
A very awkward conversation insurers, in which Muse A discovers that their photos, drawings, books and other belongings sit unharmed. Reluctantly, Muse A befriends Muse B to preserve their only safe place.

Name: Casper JordanÂ
Age: 17 (And 3/4ths, as he will point out.)Â
Gender: Male
Sexuality: He's fairly certain that he's not, and never will be, attracted to girls and once made the mistake of telling a friend about how he felt. This was back in Freshman year, when he was on the swim team. Word got out and he was bullied pretty badly. The swim team captain made him change in one of the bathroom stalls to "protect the rest of the team." Things continued to escalate, and after being locked in a storage closest overnight (his parents thought he was at an away meet), Casper was blackmailed into quitting the swim team. By the time word reached his parents, he told them that it was only a rumor and definitely wasn't true. He didn't mention how bad the bullying was, because he feared making it worse. Since Freshman year, things have settled down and Casper mostly lays low and avoids talking about his sexuality.Â
Physical Appearance: Casper has light brown hair and lightly darker brown eyes, and since he's stopped swimming and going outside in general, he's gotten pretty pale. He's not distinctly unattractive or attractive, but rather the exact definition of average. There's a light gap between his two front teeth, a mole on the arch of his left cheek bone, and a thin splatter of freckles over the bridge of his nose, all of which he considers to be faults. Casper would like to say he doesn't pay attention to his appearance, but this is mostly because he constantly avoids mirrors, other than to brush his teeth and comb his hair in the morning.Â
When he was a child, Casper had a bowl cut. He loathes seeing pictures of that age, because now he's very self-conscious of his hair, even if he refuses to admit it. He has a stereotypical f-boy haircut- Shaved shorter on the sides, longer on top, but he keeps it brushed to the left. When he's painting or writing, he'll pin it back with his sister's hair clips, much to his mother's distress. (He purposely took the sparkly ones.)Â
Casper isn't noticeably tall only about 5'6" or so, much to his father's disappointments. He still has some muscle from when he swam and exercised everyday, but most of the toned body he had built up has disappeared. He sometimes goes to the gym with his mom, but the trips are getting more and more rare.Â
Personality: Casper wouldn't say he's shy. He has no problem talking to people, he's just careful. In school, he doesn't speak unless spoken too, and he obviously tries to avoid most of his family. Despite this, he adores big crowds. (Concerts, amusement parks, ect) However, he hasn't had very many friends to go to places like that in a while. He misses it.Â
He's socially awkward, though. As a result of being bullied so harshly, or because of normal teen angst levels, who knows. He prefers painting, drawing, or writing over participating in conversations in class. His dad thinks he's anti-social and often calls him out on not having any friends.Â
Other: He has an older brother and sister, and a younger brother and sister. All that live at home. He shares a room with his younger brother, who is a Freshman and Casper can't stand him. His parents are both having affairs but they refuse to talk about it, staying together "for the kids." He tries not to focus on any of that, long since using the house next door to escape.Â
He likes dogs!! And birds!!! Take him bird watching he is such a nerd omg -
Gasp what a cutie!! I will post my character soon. :)

Name: Chandler Harrison
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Appearance: Chandler stands at 5'10" and owns a somewhat muscular build. He is in the middle ground of slender and average weight for a male his height. Though not supermodel status, he is relatively attractive, having deep green eyes that pair kindly with his head of fluffy, dirty blonde hair. His locks typically grows in with a barely curly touch to it, something he does not like, so he is sure to keep his hair short for the most part. His skin is a bit tanned, but most of this color comes from many days spent outdoors. Two discernable traits are a jagged scar that runs from his elbow to his wrist from a surgery after a fracture of his bone. He does not consider this undesirable and is rather open about it and the story behind it. The other is a tattoo of a scorpion on his left bicep. This tattoo is in memory of his father, who passed away when he was 13. The boy usually wears tee shirts and sweatpants with a pair of sneakers. He is very casual with his fashion, but when he has to dress up he is immediately drawn to suits.
Personality: Though Chandler comes off as outgoing, he is usually very guarded when things take a sensitive turn. He prefers to keep information that may make him upset to himself as he wishes to come off as a strong individual that people can depend on. He usually does not do anything to release any upset feelings that he may have, and for the most part, he is fine with that. Every once in a great while, he will pour his heart out, but that is typically done under he influence of alcohol. He is not a drunk or anything like that, no, but if at a party or offered in anyway, he is not one to refuse a good drink. He is rather sporty and is skilled in three main sports which include basketball, football, and ultimate fighting. His time pertaining to sports is devoted to basketball more than any of the others, however. He enjoys tje fast paced feelings associated with the sport. He will never be valedictorian, but he is rather studious and works hard for the grades he receives whether they be an A or a C. He loves the school environment, but does not like when he is overwhelmed by questions or when he is placed into a group he is unfamiliar with. Other than that, his only fear is swimming. (Added this because it might be interesting at a later point ;)) Something about the idea of ever drowning has made him refuse to learn.
Other: He lives with his mother who works as a nurse as the local hospital, and his stepfather, a man who is usually very busy with his successful electric business. Though he enjoys the company of his stepfather, he has not called him "Dad" yet as he does not wish to push his own aside. He is also an avid lover of horror movies, especially old timey ones like the original "Night of the Living Dead". He is intrigued by thunderstorms and blizzards and is the silly guy that would walk right out and into the severe weather just to get a peak at the patterns. -
And who shall start? ^^)

I will, one moment! :D

Casper hated family vacations. Being the middle of five children was bad enough, but being crammed inside of a tiny rental cabin with all four of his siblings? He had taken to shoving a chair under the balcony door when he was outside, just to get some peace. He felt like he might have spent all of summer on that balcony, painting the mountain view while his sister's pop music blared faintly through the door. He might have slept out there, if it weren't for the raccoons. (He'd been bitten by one as a child, and still had the puncture scars on his forearm.)
He couldn't wait to get home. The whole car ride back from the airport, he had had his headphones in, although he wasn't playing any music. He watched through the window as the cityscape turned into rolling hills, and then the tiny suburban town. They stopped at his father's office so he could grab a few files. (See: Tell his girlfriend he was back) The twenty minutes it took had Casper wishing he'd gotten into his sister's car instead. Perhaps he could have braved the long hours of blasting pop songs he didn't even know the name of. But, his brother had gotten in and Casper had done a 180 for his mother's minivan.
Despite their pit stop, his other siblings still weren't home when they pulled into the drive. Perhaps they'd stoppec to get more food. (The airport pizza had been... Interesting) Casper hauled suitcases out of the back of the van while his mother unlocked the door that lead from the garage, straight into the kitchen. He used to find it odd that they hardly ever used the real front door, but the stairs were next to the kitchen, and his room was upstairs, and the quicker Casper could get to his space, the better. He pulled his suitcase up the stairs, stopping once to catch his breath.
He shoved it against his bed, making a silent promise to unpack it later, and went back down for something way more important than his clothes- The chest that contained his canvases. He'd taken three with them, all now painted with beautiful mountain scenery. One at sunrise, one midday, and one at sunset. Casper was still in the process of building his portfolio, but he thought that maybe one of these was good enough to include. Therefore, there was no way on earth he was leaving it in his room. (Once, he'd done a gorgeous monotone painting of the cherry tree in his grandmother's back yard. He'd hung it up on his bedroom wall, framed it. It was one of the first works of art he was truly proud of- And then, one weekend, his little brother had friends over. Casper had escaped to the attic next door, and returned around midnight to find the class shattered, the canvas torn to shreds. He'd sobbed, for hours maybe, but had never bothered to confront his brother.)
He opened his window, and then carefully leaned across the ledge, stretching until he could slide the next door attic's window open as well. Then, he grabbed a wide piece of wood from under his bed. It had been used as a plank in his parent's pirate themed Halloween party the past year, and he'd snagged it immediately, knowing that it was perfect.
He carefully put his chest on top of the wood, and slid it over until it was inside the next house. He followed right after it, holding his breath for the two seconds he was in the air, two stories up.
He set his chest on the ground, and sunk to his knees to open it- And froze.
Carpet.
The floor had been wood. And now, it was covered in a thick carpet.
As his brain registered this, his eyes took in the rest of the room, suddenly realizing that he wasn't alone.
