the vines dragged him back from his car and held him upside down while others tried to squeeze the demon out of him. -

the vines still held onto him (no buts) and dangled him. they still tried to get the demon out to see if subs theory was correct. a mush dripped out of him and rose poked it. "definitely demon stuff."
