The pokeball opened back up as soon as it hit him in other words Pokemon not caught

"E-Eh....? Shoot!" Jessica stood, Absol at her side and growling menacingly.

Darkrai just looked at her

Jessica whimpered. "I-I'm sorry sir! I guess this is the wrong cave.... I-I got word a certain Pokemon was here...."

"what Pokemon?" Darkrai asked slightly confused

"The legendary Darkrai.... must be another cave..."

"nope....... that's me"Darkrai said confused at how he was a human

She paled and grabbed Absol, scared, "You're lying....."

"no I'm not"Darkrai said slowly starting up a Shadow Ball

Jessica cried out as Absol bit his arm. "I-If that's the case..." She grabbed a rock and threw it at his head.

He dodged the rock trying to shake absol of his arm

Jessica narrowed her eyes as she carefully slipped behind him with a piece of firewood before hitting him over the head harshly.

Darkrai has been knocked out

Jessica panted heavily as she and Absol began dragging him to headquarters.
