lou nodded, hopped in the truck, and probably broke the speeding limit as she propelled into the driveway. she ran inside, changed, and acted chill.
-
Kali did the same except she picked up a few things they'd left on the floor and anything that resembled ghost hunting items. She threw the vacuum under her bed before sitting on the couch with Lou right before her parents walked in. "How have you girls been?" Was the first thing her mom asked.
-
"great, ma'am!" lou replied in her chipper mood. "you,... haven't been on youtube, right?" she was secretly hoping they had.
-
"I haven't but you know how your father is," Her mom was just starting to say when her dad burst in behind her. "KALI YOU MADE A YOUTUBE ACCOUNT AND STARTED POSTING VIDEOS!" Her dad yelled. Kali flinched.. Wait for it....... "And you didn't even ask to bring me along?!" He said. Yep. That was her dad. Seeming to be angry and then trying to join in on be fun. "I used to be a ghost hunter when I was your age," her dad said, which made Kali gasp. "Really?"
-
"YOUR jeff?" she had pieced the stories her father had told as a kid about his best friend hunting ghosts together. she hadn't seen him in awhile, but she knew now. "OH MY GOSH! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU! WE GOT RID OF TWO OF THE BAXTERS AND WE HAVE A COLLECTION OF GHOSTS AND-" she heard a female voice calling from below and asking why they hadn't come down yet. she hopped down the stairs and started talking to the ghosts, ignoring the still-angry indian one.
-
Kali listened with interest and looked at her father with new eyes. There was another part of him she had never known about, all this time. Her dad looked at the vacuum with interest. "We didn't used to just vacuum the ghosts and keep 'em there. We had no idea what we were doing when we first started, so we had to learn to ruff it and taught ourselves how to move on the ghosts," said Dad. "That reminds me. How's your dad doing, Lou?"
-
brightfire Newbie"He's in Alaska for the year. Still a ghost hunter." She walked to the basement and her voice melted with the chatter of other females.
-
Kali's father gazed at the bottles with impressed eyes. "I see you girls are figuring out how to make ghosts move on. That's better than banishing them or destroying them. If they get banished, after they build up their power, they can come back in a few years more powerful than ever. If they move on, their purpose has been served and God let's them in heaven," he said. Kali was surprised her dad knew so much on the subject.
-
brightfire NewbieLou had just entertained them with a story of a movie theater accident where she accidently ripped the screen when she showed him a secret journal filled with all the classes of ghosts, reasons, types and how to help them.
-
brightfire NewbieBump!
-
I'm sorry I'm in like a million RPs RN 😅)
A few ghosts started shimmering and disappearing. Kali helped join in by talking with the ghosts. Dad joined, too, seeming to already know what he was doing. -
brightfire NewbieIts fine!))
Lou scribbled down a few for the records and let kalis father read it. -
"Very interesting," said Kali's dad as he skimmed through the notes.
-
"i record everything ghost!" even though lou normally seemed ditzy and excited mainly, these notes were formal and scholarly. "i'm smarter than i look." she muttered.
-
"Just like your father," Kali's dad said as he ruffled both of the girl's hair. "Come on, Ghost Hunters, let's go eat a real Hunter's meal. Lunch!" He said as he stood up and met Kali's mother in the kitchen.
