Ok -
C1 is a monster hunter, working for a group called 'The Shadow', and is currently looking in to a rather odd mission. Basically, every day for the past year a human has vanished off the face of the planet. Turns out, someone was kidnapping the humans and attempting to create monster human hybrids with them. This of course failed most of the time, and the few that survived generally didn't last very long that's the the kidnappers experiments. So by the time c1 found them, only one was still alive,c2. And after bringing c2 back to The Shadow, the leader of the group discided to try to use c2 as some kind of weapon, causing c1 to grab c2 and flee with The Shadow after them
