darcy sleepily nodded her head. "huh?"

(It was 8 in the morning, so she wouldn't be too tired.)
Kalla paused and used magic to wake Darcy quicker. "Well, I decided a plan! I was kicked out and cursed by the other fairys. So I'm technically half human now." She sighed. "So I was thinking! Maybe you can help me live in the human world!" She suggested. -
darcy thought about this and nodded eagerly. "Yea! your fun to play with! and i need to get more of your soup!" she added. then she dragged kalla to her closet, dying her hair from its natural blue so it was a pretty brown (so her parents wouldn't question how she dyed her hair) and brushed it before setting her in a pretty, simple dress. then she dragged her outside, carefully shimmying her down the gutter, and rang the doorbell before standing next to her as her parents answered. "hi momma! hi daddy! this is my friend; she doesn't have anyplace to stay. shes really helpful and knows how to cook and i offered for her to stay here!" she knew her parent's couldn't say no to their little daughter.

Her mother, who was half asleep, didn't notice the dizzy look on the little girl's face. As a reflex, she yawned "Okay honey..." And let her daughter in. Not bothering to ask why her daughter was out in the cold at this time of day.

she at least isnt mean and pays attention most of the time

darcy ran to her father, who was fully awake. "can my friend stay? her name is kalla and shes helpful and quick and a yummy cook!" -
"Well, if she's better than your mom at cooking of course!" Her father laughed. A spatula flew from the kitchen and hit his head (guess who! LOL). "Ow! What was that for!?!" He laughed. "You're more spoiled than our daughter!" She laughed back. Her father rolled his eyes and got ready for work.

darcy squealed a genuine squeal of happiness, hugged her fathers arm, and dragged her friend up. "ok, first of all, human customs! how do fairies speak?"

"The same you do I guess. Only, without the squealing. But I'm sure I'll learn what I need to just by growing up in the human world." She explained. Drill sounds were being heard from one of the many spare rooms they had. Clearly the servants were setting up Kalla's new room in the closest spare room to Darcy.

"alright. what do you want help with then?" darcy responded irritably.

"We just grow up together like sisters I guess." She shrugged. Seven year olds didn't worry about the same thing for too long. "Should we watch them make my room?" She asked.

darcy squealed and ran. this was an obvious yes.
(do you want to timeskip 8 years? where kalla looks and acts younger than darcy and darcy is only nice to kalla and her friends?? if so just describe how they look now)) -
(Well, not 8 years. How about five? And Kalla looks and acts the same age.)

in 8 years kala would be 15 looking and darcy would be 14
in 5 years darcy would be 11 and kalla 12.)) -
