brightfire Newbielisa immediately noticed and called on her. "yes, ms. millard?" she questioned. she had memorized all the names and photographs of her students.

"Uh... Miss? I... I don't understand..." Stacy admitted

brightfire Newbielisa nodded. "i expected this. it's the first day, and you haven't learned about rocket physics." she explained the problem in easily understandable terms and, after everyone was done, turned around and asked who got it.

"You lost me at Science." Many of the boys laughed and sneered. Stacy sighed and looked over her work. She hoped she at least wouldn't look stupid.

brightfire Newbielisa's face immediately turned to one of unreadble measure. she calmly walked over to the boy's desk and slammed the ruler down. "you know what? i truly don't need this on my first DAMN DAY. detention for the whole class. no buts." she turned and continued the day's lesson.

"I'm sorry about how the boys were treating you today." Stacy sighed after class. "They're like that to every teacher."

brightfire Newbie"don't worry." she said coldly. "they have detention for the rest of the day from the others." as soon as the day ended, lisa ran to the teacher's lounge and drank some coffee, sighing.

The other teachers looked confused to see her. "Excuse me! This room is for staff only!" A teacher scolded.

brightfire Newbielisa gave her a stone cold glare. "THEN WHY DO I HAVE A KEY TO THIS LOUNGE IF ITS ONLY GIVEN TO TEACHERS??" she scolded back, showing the key, the staff i.d, and the note from the principal before she rubbed her head and sipped her coffee again, glaring at the teacher.

"I'm sorry. I thought you were a teenager." The teacher apologized.

Pearbugdoodles NewbieLisa gave her another death glare. "I AM." She pointed to the specific part of the note that explained she was a gifted child.

"Oh..." many teachers mumbled awkwardly.

"Hello miss! Uh, I hope I didn't do too bad on our class... I didn't know we were learning Rocket science this year... Um..." she felt embarrassed. She didn't even know what Rocket Science was...
