Thistlefang ended up rolling over to Shadestripe and bumping into her. -
shadestripe squeaked as she disappeared underwater.

"Nonononononono," Thistlefang gasped. he pushed her out of the water faster then a cat could blink.

shadestripe coughed slightly. "Thanks." she mumbled as she shook her pelt free of water.

"Y-y-y-y-your welcome," he muttered.

"whats wrong?" she pressed, confused.

"I-i-i-i... well, I kind of.. was born in that tree over there and I saw a squuirel giving birth there so bye," he gasped and then ran up a huge oak tree and stayed there.

shadestripe drooped her tail and padded off. did she screw up again?

Thistlefang watched her go. Ugh, he wanted to tell her he loved her so bad, why couldn't he? Hm, probably because he just talked about a squuirle giving birth. Nice move, Thistlepoop.
