brightfire Newbiethe dolls bright orange eyes seemed alive, glowing. anyone could assume it was from the sun, however, and the sun itself showed slightly cracked porcelain skin. she had a painted smile and freckles and thick yarn hair.

If you twist the key on her back
she'll tell you a story!

Ronny smiled and took the doll to his room. "Hello Decoranta! My name's Ronny. Isn't it pretty out?" He asked, sitting her down on a shelf. He gently winded her up to see what stories she would tell.
(The curse doesn't break until he guesses her real name. Just so you know.) -

the dolls eyes had closed when he sat her up but now blinked open. "hello, child! i'm decoranta! i have a story and surprise to tell and show!" the doll coughed- an odd thing, don't you think?
"once there was a lovely kingdom with a just king and queen. the kingdom wrote and named their children in latin by receiving a short prophecy about their future. the king and queen dulcia, of course, had a newborn child. they went to the sacred place, where the ancestors told them a horrifying tale. "your child will be cursed to be a doll," they said sadly. "but she will be freed if someone can guess her real name. call her decoranta." the king and queen, horrified, asked when she would turn. "at the age 13, she will turn into a porcelain doll by a witch and given to her relative. that is all we can tell." the baby girl decoranta, sure enough, was cursed by an evil witch and turned into a small porcelain doll on her 13th birthday. now she awaits someone to guess her true name, to free her and her kingdom." the doll paused, the gear whirring. "Can you guess my name, child? then i shall tell you a secret." with that, the doll clinked off. -

"That's a neat story!" Ronny cheered, thinking the doll was a good actress. "I know your name is Decoranta... But If I named you I would name you Autumn." He sighed, looking at her orange eyes.

brightfire Newbiethe doll looked agitated in her eyes but kept her chipper smile. after a few more stories, the doll refused to say anything but "and the girl was passed to a relative of the witch. only if they guess her name will she be freed and they can save her kingdom."

the doll began to glow until the room filled with white light. when ti stopped, their was a grinning girl, a carbon copy of the doll, standing a foot below ronny. "hi! im decoranta! your aunt trix is the witch!" -

"What?" Ronny whispered. He took a step back and tripped over the dresser! "Um... what!?!" He asked again, staring at the doll that came to life. -

the girl smiled. "im the princess in the story! though its more of a biography.." a white flame danced and trickled around her arm in the shape of a vine. "i forgot! the royals control elements!" -
Ronny couldn't believe this was happening!!! He assumed he was dreaming! "One sec..." he whispered. He picked up a fork and poked himself quickly with it. "OW!!!! Okay! NOT a dream!!!!!" He yelled.
