"Well, maybe a nice walk in the park will calm you down?" Fransie suggested. "Hey! You said you fell down a sewer hole to fall down here?" Richard suddenly asked.

"Well, if it weren't for my portal, my son, and all the snow we have here, you would have died from that fall in the sewers! So, I technically saved your life!!!" Richard cheered. Fransie threw a book at his head. "Okay! Okay! I'll leave!" He laughed. "I'm sorry about my husband. Richard's a good man, but he can be selfish sometimes." Fransie sighed.

"Toby, why not you take Lori for a walk and show her around town?" Fransie suggested. "Okay Mom." Toby nodded, putting his coat back on.

"That's Sally Corners. It's the store we buy everything at. You can find anything from candy to hardware supplies! I wouldn't be surprised if someone found a magic carpet in there!" He laughed, pointing to a pretty red building. "Over there is my school." He continued, pointing to a large brick building. "We just left my street. I have the biggest back yard there!" He cheered. -

"Well, there's the wishing tree! Every year, a week before Christmas, a tree is planted in town square. Kids would tie their wishes to it and by Christmas it will be granted by another person in the village!" Toby cheered.

"Yeah, it was planted last night." He pointed to a BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree in the middle of town. It was taller than any building there!

"Sure! You will probably still be here by Christmas. And every wish on that tree has been granted! Except for one..." Toby sighed. -

"and whats that?" she asked. she was just gonna wish for a successful future and a good family when she was an adult. she didn't think that was too much, depending that she had gotten too used to the streets.
