(Wouldn't she notice it strange that a dog's patting her back? And if Baxter likes her, why doesn't he turn human and explain everything?)

The next day, a note book and box of every color of marker (including ones many humans never saw) was sitting next to Lori's bed!

Powder NewbieLori gasped and smiled as she scooped it up and stared, trying to find something to draw. Soon she drew a peaceful blue lily against a background. It was extremely detailed for marker and it seemed like you could pluck it right there!

Toby came in and asked Lori to come downstairs. Downstairs, a large breakfast waited for them!

After the family exchanged presents, Toby grabbed a sparkling gold box with a blue ribbon. He walked to the door and put on his coat. "Gotta go! I have a delivery to make!" He cheered.

A young girl a year or two younger than Toby was standing in front of him before turning, seeing him and running off. -
Toby watched the girl run curiously. He knew everyone in town. She must have been a tourist, someone's little sister, or someone new in town. The last one was most likely. He shrugged and continued to Jane's house.

Toby called the mayor on his way to Jane's house to tell her about the injured girl. The mayor sent people to look for her as Toby walked to Jane's house.
