Rose closed her eyes and sighed, "I'll protect you with my life... after all, humans do silly things when they're in love..." She held him close, smiling sadly to herself.

Glacius twitched slightly and opened his eyes to look up at her

Rose's were closed as her lip trembled and a tear rolled down her cheek.

Glacius whimpered softly and then he hugged her

Rose blinked and sighed, softly hugging back. "You shouldn't move... you may injure yourself even worse..."

Glacius closed his eyes and rested his head on her, coughing softly

Rose frowned and gently stroked his hair, concerned for his health.

Rose felt tears prick her eyes, wishing she knew what to do.

Glacius coughed again and opened his eyes, moving his head to look at the blood

Rose carefully removed the cloth so he could see, frowning deeply.

Glacius winced slightly and touched the wound
