Glacius ran to a cliff and looked over it as the ice that had formed on his back started spreading over the rest of his body

Rose returned inside and sat in her room, eyes downcast. How would she tell the children? How would she cope with it?

Glacius smiled and then he jumped over the edge, the ice on his back spiking up to form large wings

Rose sighed and shook her head, wrapping her neck and looking down. It wasn't the first time someone she cared for left. She'd live. Life goes on.

Glacius smiled as he spread his wings and flew straight up, the ice covering is body and forming in to a dragon. He roared and twisted in the air, flying back to roses home

Rose began to cook for when the children came home, her hair tied into a bun. She hummed quietly to herself and sighed, looking out of the window.

Glacius spotted the house and dived down, landing in the yard with a soft thump. He growled softly as the ground around him quickly became covered in ice

Rose blinked wildly and rushed out, eyes wide in alarm. "What the...?"

Glacius chirpped softly at her and looked at her

Rose's eyes went wide with shock. "Gl-Glacius...?"

Glacius smirked and his tail curled around him as he nodded

Rose forced smile, relieved as she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Glacius purred softly and lowered his head to look her in the eye

Rose smiled and nuzzled into him slightly. "I was worried you wouldn't come back..."
