  nah, not that.
  in arizona we get terrible storms that usually result in the streets getting pretty flooded, so she's taking extra precautions.)

  lori came rowing back with the leash and collar! she tugged her little boat-car thing into the garage and ran inside. "that was fun! hey, lindsay, im gonna make an extra space for you!" she ran into the garage and started fixing the boat up!
  (i have a headcannon shes really great at building stuff. shes terrible at pulling apart stuff, however)

  "Okay. I'll go play with my new doll house!" Aunt Kelly (from their dads side) sent her a doll house for her birthday. It needed to be painted.

  lori eventually finished and tugged it out, revealing... a larger canoe with space for a three year old, a 14 year old, and a collie, with extra space for storage. "mom! im taking lindsay out on a roadtrip around town!" she grabbed some poles and a large tarp, complete with some pillows and blankets, and stuffed it in along with some food. "lindsay!"

  lori grumbled. "no thanks." she lay on a skateboard underneath her canoe, trying to add a motor to it.

  "I got the lights working!" Lindsay cheered. "What lights?" Mom asked. "The lights for my doll house!" Lindsay answered. Mom looked shocked as she ran up the stairs. Sure enough, Lindsay wired her house to have working lights.
