Gabrielle sat with her head held high and a slight smirk.

"Big deal!?!" Hannah asked. "Yes it's a big deal!" She muttered. "Hannah, calm down! A Muggle wouldn't understand." Draco laughed. "You don't get to talk to me Malfoy!" Hannah replied.
The hat was placed on her head. "Let's see... Very odd... A crush on a Malfoy huh? Oh you poor dear..." The hat muttered. "I see you want to be in Slytherin to impress him? You'll be eaten alive!" The hat laughed. -
Gabrielle stiffened and turned bright red, "You damned hat!" She yelled angrily.

"Oh calm down! I can keep a secret! But I think you belong more in GRYFFINDOR" He shouted the last word for the great hall to hear.

Gabrielle went pale and growled, looking away in shame as she stood rather sharply and stormed to the Gryfinndor table.

Hannah was also put in Gryffindor. She sat in the only seat left which was next to Gabrielle.

Gabrielle stared down at her lap. Harry smiled at Hannah, "So, we're in the same house, huh?"

"Uh, yeah." Answerred Hannah. "I'm sorry about her comment earlier." Hannah added, pointing to Gabrielle. "She wasn't raised as a wizard... But she'll learn Wizard History!"

Harry frowned, "Its fine... I didn't know, either. So she was raised by muggles as well?"

"Yeah. Many people have. My father was, but he went to this school. My mother's a half blood." Hannah answered.

Harry looked at her, "But... Draco said she was a muggle. How is she here?"

"Many muggles become wizards! That girl Hermione is I think. Don't ask me because I don't even know her name! She snapped at me when I asked." Hannah sighed.

Harry stared at Gabrielle and sighed, turning away.

"Did I say something wrong?" Hannah asked herself concerned.
