Jerry watched Maria curiously. "Is it just me... Or is there a pattern here?" He asked himself. Not being too bright, however, he thought about it for awhile, then gave up.
Tilla watched Maria as he danced. She had a crush on Thomas, like other girls. And it was incredible that he asked her out! But she was now losing interest in him. She tried getting to know him during the past week... But he wasn't very intelligent. And he was a bit rude and bragged a lot. He had no sense of humor. All he had was charm, and talent.
Tilla sighed and walked away from her partner. Thomas just stood there, confused. Until another random girl began to dance with him. -
Pearbug NewbieMaria stepped back. "Huh?" He continued dancing and didn't notice tilla.

"Attention! We are starting a game!" Hagrid announced joyfully! "You will be given a random partner! Your partner and you will grab a paper from this here bucket and return to your tables! When everyone's done that, find your partner. You two will put your papers together and it will tell you a room in the castle! You and your partner race, using only charms to distract them, and the first one to get there wins a prize!" Hagrid explained. -
Pearbug NewbieMaria waited patiently, holding Jenny's hand, as he wondered if he was going to be paired with Gina, or jerry, or even jenny.

"Everyone sit down and close your eyes!" Flitwick called. "Please know your partner will be in a different house than you! So, how about I'll pair Ravenclaws with Slytherins, and HufflePuffs with Gryffindors!" He decided. RavenClaw groaned as McGonagall and Madam Hooch organized partners.

McGonagall handed Jerry a random paper, then handed Maria a random paper. "I got Alley!!!" Jerry groaned.
