Imally woke up one morning. She smiled and got up. She was so excited for the new day! She was up and ready to go play with the foxes and pick herbs for potions!
But as she got up, she didn't see the lovely green walls of her bedroom. Nore the lovely window that she could see the whole forest from. Instead, she was in a cold, dark room. A woman was sitting next to an odd, glowing box (computer) and was passed out, asleep.
Imally felt a shiver go down her spine, as she screamed at the book next to this girl. The green book with purple words on it... The book with Imally's family on it. -
The scream woke the odd woman up. Imally jumped back and fell on the hard floor. The child cried and looked out the dusty window. She saw huge buildings that towered to the skies. She looked at the strange woman as tears stained her face and homesickness stained her heart.

Mercee shot up with a cry, falling off her bed, "Who are you, and why are in my room?" She screamed, crawling back against a wall.

Imally didn't speak. She couldn't talk to non-magical people. It was a spell that the Errols put on babies to keep the magic world a secret.
Imally picked up the book with a picture of her in the front, her baby sister riding on her shoulders, her parents beside her, and the foxes surrounding them. She shown it to the odd woman with a very confused, hurt, and terrified stare. -
(Errols were the leaders of magic villages in her book)

Mercee blinked and shook her head. "No way... no, that can't be!" She exclaimed, standing quickly.
(Technically, Mercee is magical.) -
Imally suddenly found her voice. "My name is Imally... You can call me Ima... Where am I? And why is my family on this book?" She asked.

Mercee paled, "Your family is on that book becauseI wrote it... about a girl named Imally, who was a young witch discovering her powers..."
