Darkrai red the book and then he went to check on the angel

Juliet was on the floor, fast asleep

Darkrai tilted his head at her before he drifted over and picked her up. He sighed and set her on the bed

Juliet curled up, her wings becoming a bit darker.

Darkrai tilted his head curiously

They became an ashen grey before beginning to flake.

Darkrai frowned slightly and he touched her wings

They crumbled to dust under the touch, Juliet sleeping through it

Darkrai blinked in surprise

Juliet began to stir and fluttered open her eyes, unaware

Darkrai drifted away from her

Juliet sat up and gasped, seeing the ash. She quivered as tears pricked her eyes, whimpering before breaking into sobs.

Darkrai tilted his head

"Damn you..." She whispered. Any chance of escape just died. If an angel loses their wings, they're forever trapped in hell.

Darkrai sighed softly"would you like something to eat.
