Juliet shook as she looked down at her hands, her eyes wide with fear. "N-no...."

Darkrai frowned slightly, a concerned look in his icy blue eyes

Juliet slowly turned to examine her leathery bat wings, her eyes downcast. "Why...?"

"I'm not sure" he said softly

Juliet sighed and returned her gaze to the mirror. "Perhaps it happened for a reason... Some form of punishment... Well, at least I can say I look decently."

Darkrai chuckled softly"I'll see if I can find anything in my library" he said before vanishing

Juliet stared at herself in the mirror, sighing quietly. She wasn't lying, she actually looked... Really, really good. She smiled softly at her allowed vanity, feeling no guilt or remorse.

Darkrai reappeared in his library and started looking through his massive collection of books

Juliet played with her hair and began to flutter toward the library, proud of her looks. She landed in the door way before blinking, "I hope you aren't trying to find a way to change me back."

Darkrai shook his head "not really. I'm mostly trying to figure out what happened" he said as he pulled a book off the shelf and started looking through it

Juliet scoffed, "Who cares? All I know is that I'm free, and it feels amazing."

Darkrai chuckled softly"I don't like not knowing something

Juliet rolled her eyes, "So what are you, the demon of curiosity? Hardly seems hell worthy to me."

He rolled his eyes"nightmares, and I'm just naturally curious

Juliet chuckled, "Nightmares? How intriguing. I haven't experienced one of those in over a century."
