Thistleflight licked Mudstem's cheek reashurringly. "It's okay," he purred. "I'm with you."

snowstorm Newbiemudstem purred a bit and nuzzled up with him, seeing the rest of the clan safely in the trees. "why did it have to rain today?!" she mewed.

'Well, here's a good chance!' Thistleflight breathed in, then blurted, "Because I wanted to ask you to be my mate!"

snowstorm Newbieshe stared at him, her mouth open slightly as her pelt turned a burning red. "o-o-okay.. i.. um..." she took a deep breath. "i was hoping you'd ask me since we were apprentices!" she blurted. then she purred.

Thistleflight hung his head. "Is that a no?'

snowstorm Newbieshe laughed a bit. "its a yes, you goober!" she purred and batted his head. then snuggled up to him.

Thistelflight meowed happily, rapped his paws around his new mate and pressing her against his flank.

snowstorm Newbiemudstem purred and lay down on the branch, falling asleep while waiting for the flood to end.

Thistleflight wondered what had made Mudstem so upset that da they went hunting. He sighed, knowing he would make it up to her.

mudstem curled up next to thistleflight in her sleep, shivering. -
Thistelflight felt her cool pelt and rapped his tail and paws over and around her.

"lets go, then!"
(this is about a moon after the flood i guess, they jsut napped in a tree together XD) -
"Mwuah?" He yawned. He got up and hopped down after her.

mudstem purred and went out on the first hunting patrol with thistleflight, rowanwhisker, and gnatwing. -
Thistleflight held his mate's tail down, playfully.
