I hate starting, but kay) Ben stared at the pond, his bare feet sitting in the cold, clear water. He smiled as footsteps approached.

Blix Dreya walked near the pond. She could see a boy sitting at the edge. Previously she was running from someone and came upon this being. Slowing her pace, she stares at him.

The water didn't move other than small splashes of fish playing. Silence hung in the air, dreadful memories flashing infront Ben's eyes. His golden hair shimmered in the sun, his hat resting at his side.

Blix stood still. She too had some bad memories with this lake. Her green orbs shining. Blue hair flowing in the soft breeze.
[Flash back]
"Mom!" A girl screamed strapped in her seat. Blix, at 12. The car she in, sinking in the lake. Water filling quickly as the car sinks deeper.
"Hold on baby girl, Mommy's got you!" A similar woman screamed managing to bust a window pulling her child out. She tried to get out as well but was stuck. The car, completely filledBlix swam to the top. Gasping for air she swam to shore the look of her dying mother implanted in her brain. "Help!" The girl cried out falling onto the ground. "My mother! She's still in the car!" People ignored her just walking on.
[End of flashback]
A tear escaped Blixes eye as the memory hit her. It's been three years ever since the incident. -

Ben slowly pulled his feet from the water, and grabbed his hat. He could still feel the water flowing through his hair and the palm forcing his head to stay underwater. He shuddered away the memory, and stood up.

Blix stepped back as he stood. This stranger did not seem human. Her eyes looked around for an exit. Though, if she turned back.... they'd grab her and put her back in the place she dreaded most. Soon, yells were heard in the distance. Paniking Blix ran past the boy almost forgetting he was there as she dived into the water going down as the police came down looking for her.

Ben stumbled back a bit, confused. He heard the sirens and dissappeared into thin air, reappearing in a nearby tree.

The police soon went away. Blix was struggling for air. Hearing the sirens go away she swims to the top going to shore coughing up water and breathing deeply. "Damnit!" She yells out weakly standing, soaking wet. She looked around trying to find the boy but he was gone. She sighed sittiing down by the water shivering from the cold. "That... was a close one..."

Ben's feet hit the ground as he landed. He watched the police to make sure they were gone, then sighed with relief "That was.. Weird. Nobody ever comes out here but me.."

Blix turned to look at him. There he was. She just stared still trying to gather her calm from the event. Soon she nods. "I'll go... i need to get far away..." She looks down.

Ben sighed, and began heading for the mansion, but stopped. He smirked, then continued walking.
