Last night Heph and I were chatting, and we came up with an idea for a group RP based around an optional boarding school (students may live on campus but are not required to do so) with a 4:1 student ratio of human to mythical creatures, respectively. All mythical creature students are required to board and are supported by a staff consisting almost entirely of mythical creatures, who also live at the school. Rather than focusing on the lives of the students, the RP will follow the teachers, their relationships and struggles, and their efforts to hide their identities from human students and coworkers.
As a participant in the RP, you may play up to three teachers. Students should be NPCs for the most part; you may claim one as your own exclusively if you wish, however they should not be the main subject of focus in your writing. The principal will also be a human and NPC, for shenanigan purposes.
We've agreed on the following requirements for participation in the RP:
-Post here for out of character chatting, or for RP discussion.
-You must include a picture of your character in your bio(s). If your character is a shapeshifter (and you're posting multiple alternate forms) or they require more than two pictures to explain their appearance, please link the extra pictures instead of posting them directly.
-You must be able to write at least two sentences per post.
-You must be able to write with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation for the RP itself.
-You must be active and able to post at least once a day.
So yeah, post here if you're interested. When posting, please list what sort of creature(s) you would like your character(s) to be, just so we can see who's on our staff. -
