( What if Laurence is framed for treason so Vincent locks him in the dungeons, not willing to kill him, using the excuse that the potion to seperate his life from vincents wouldn't work on either of them. And he takes a new wife because he has too, and this new wife is a women and her and her traitor of a husband are really the ones who committed treason but only to get Laurence out of the picture.)
Laurence was cold -

Vincent covered him in a blanket -
Laurence was in the corner of the cold cell. It wasn't dark for him because of his eyes but being able to see it all didn't really help him. He was hurt. Vincent really belived he'd try to kill him. Even if he'd wished to do something like that Laurence was smarter than that, he'd have killed himself then Vincent would hve most likley died as well. He knew for a fact Loz didn't believe he'd done something like that, neither did Shelby but he didn't know what his other children thought.

Laurence heard footsteps, too heavy to be shelbys yet too graceful to be Loz's. ( It should be Yazoo or Kadaj and wheather or not they believed that Laurence tried to kill Vincent.)
