"Mmm. Well, hello there, I'm Jenny. Whats your name?" Jenny leaned in, smiling.

"Shadow" he said with a shrug

She held out her hand. "Want to be friends, Shadow?"

He eyed her hand warily

Jenny said, "Take it, or not. I understand."

He shrugged and put his hands in his pockets

Jenny pulled away, expressionless, and went to the other side of the fence gate. She sat down, behind it, and looked around.

Jenny's gaze wavered, the rested on the police car next to the red house. Of course the officer couldn't see her, she had her wings out, after all. She looked at her hands.

He tilted his head slightly

She remembered her mission, to protect human-kind. But, why had she been chosen? 'Stop pouting,' She thought. 'Get up and fight.' Jenny put her hand on the wall, pushed her legs upward, and brushed her wings out. She lifted herself up into the air, closing her eyes, and zooming off. 'Try to find me now, thoughts!' She landed near another high-school, and, still keeping her other spell in place, chose this school to stay at.

Shadow watched her fly off and he sighed before changing to his fire lion form

Jenny walked through the student, taking a note of who was who and what was what.
