Alexis listened to Snape. She was paired up with Gray for their assignment, and they had to create a potion from their books. "Why that girl?" Alexis asked herself.

Gray sighed, should've stuck with the shadows. She stride over next to Alexis. Person alert. What to do, what to say? Look cool. "So, are we going to get started or something?" Gray asked emotionlessly, a stoic expression on her face.

Alexis tried not to look disgusted. "We can start after classes today, at my house. By the way, I'm Hufflepuff. Ask somebody to show you the way." Alexis was crying inside. Why, why, why couldn't it be Ginny??

Gray could easily read people. Alexis was not very happy. Another person to be a potential friend right down the drain. Am I that weird? Gray shrugged and opened her book anyway, biting her lip and looking down to hide the tears. 'Dont cry. Don't let them see your feelings,' she thought to herself.

Alexis took a deep breath and opened her book. "So, what potion should we 'try' to make?" Alexis said as nicely as she could. Maybe I could make a friend out of her... But maybe not...

(40 minutes until tomorrow, so if I don't reply for a long time I might be sleeping )

"How about a horcru- Um hornet's potion?" Gray corrected herself, dabbing in dark magic was apparently not welcome at Hogwarts. She checked to make sure a hornet's potion actually existed to make sure she didn't look like an idiot.

"Sure, that's a hard potion to make but I think we can do it..." Alexis browsed through the book looking for the ingredients for it.

Gray found hornet's potion. "How to summon a giant hornet by just mixing these ingredients and pouring it onto a bowl of unicorn sweat.. careful do not drink.." Gray read the instructions to herself. Wow, hornetjust had to be the first thing to come to mind. But then she read the part about it doing your bidding and it's stings are ten times worse than normal.. sounds dangerous. Definitely a win win.

Alexis read the ingredients and instructions. "Uhh.. How are we going to get a hornet?" Alexis asked

"I guess the ingredients we mix will make a magical giant hornet after we slowly pour it into unicorn sweat. We might have to do that part at the end, when we present. We can tell it to do a few things to make sure it works. Though we could do a practice one first to make sure it doesn't go wrong," Gray stated.

"Yeah, okay, I might ask Harry for the unicorn sweat..." She smiled at his name. "And, can I tell you something after class?"

"Sure," Gray smiled, or at least attempted a smile but it looked more like a smirk. She just decided to let it drop.

"CLASS DISMISSED!" Snape yelled. Alexis walked out of the door, daydreaming of Harry. She sighed. "Meet me my house in like, five minutes or something. I need to do something really quick..."

"Okay, meet you there," Gray said, then she slipped into the crowd and back into the shadows. Some rumored she could teleport. Disappearing and hiding was just her thing.
