Ben just sat there and he had an overwhelming sense that Alysha was angry at him for making her late.

The bell rang for recess. She took her bag and walked out of the classroom still ignoring Ben.

Ben tried to use his map to decipher where to go next, but he was just called to the office. He walked to the office worrying he did something wrong already.

Alysha was quite back to her happy-self by then. She wanted to apologise to Ben for having behaved the way she did in the class. She went out searching for him but couldn't find him.

Ben entered the principal's office and sat down. The principal said "Ben Parks, I heard some good things about you. I heard that you are some sort of amateur sleuth the 3 other friends you had." Ben said "Yes sir." The principal continued "Well, I need your help. Our star quarterback, Bill Rogers has suffered an allergic reaction today. Someone apparently snuck in and put peanut butter in his protein shake. Are you up for it?" Ben said "Yes but I'm gonna need some help." The principal gave him 4 out of class passes and said "Then find them."

Alysha found out that he had been called to the Principal's office. She waited outside the office for him to come out.

Ben came out and saw Alysha waiting for him. He said "Do you need something?"

"um-no",Alysha said hesitantly,"Actually,yes..I wanted to apologise for earlier"

Ben said "It's okay, but I need your help. I'm supposed to solve a mystery."

"A mystery? What do you mean?",Alysha asked curiously

"Bill Rogers suffered an allergic reaction, because someone put peanut butter in his protein shake. The principal needs me to solve this mystery but I can't do it alone. So I need your help." said Ben.

"Bill Rogers..isn't he our school team's quarterback..I hope he gets better before the next match. The Principal assigning you an investigative task right on the first day, you must have been a Sherlock Holmes in your previous school! Well, I'll surely help you. But is it just the 2 of us or -?,Alysha replied while both of them walked through the corridors

Ben said "I was on an investigative team at my old school. But it's not gonna be just the two of us. I have 3 out of class passes and I need you to find 2 more people willing to help. I'd do it myself, but I don't know anyone here other then you."

"I'm impressed!",Alysha exclaimed. " 2 more people..2..I could ask my friends to help,if you wouldn't mind. What do you say?",she asked.
