Alexandra widened her eyes, "Um so you go to the hospital regularly?" She asked, trying to keep her cool.

He nodded "yeah" he said, coughing lightly

"Do you need some kind of medicine? Or is it like a sickness?" Alexandra asked. "But if you think it's personal, you don't have to tell me," she added.

He smiled weakly "I have an illness that causes me to cough up blood

"Dude, that's hardcore. I should write a poem about this," she said and whipped out her notebook. "So do you have other symptoms?" She asked.

He frowned slightly "well I occasionally have seizures"

She scribbled something on her notebook. "How about your mom and dad? Do they worry about you?" Alexandra said, but for some reason she felt she shouldn't have said that.

He quickly fell silent and he stared at the ground

"Um, sorry I asked." Alexandra said, feeling guilty but curious at the same time, which made her more guilty. She couldn't help but wonder about this boy's dark past.

Archaios flipped his notebook to a blank page and started drawing

Alexandra felt that Archaios was done talking. Even so, she stayed and started writing her poem. 'uhhh, what eyes with past?' she thought to herself 'class?' then she wrote something down and then erased it.

Archaios tilted his head slightly as he drew a dragon

Alexandra glanced at Archaios's drawing. In an attempt to make a conversation again, she said, "That's a nice dragon. It has lots of depth." -
Archaios paused for a second "thanks" he said softly

Alexandra sighed in frustration. Some people really knew how to close a conversation. She went back to her poem, but then she flipped a page and started drawing.
