Zaire nodded in agreement as she softly smiled"Yeah,we'll get through this.."

Kiki rolled her eyes now upset with herself. "Forget it. Let's just go. Plus, I don't need your pity." Kiki said picking up her pace. Now, she was angry showing her usual self. The hot-tempered Kiki, the one only close friends and family know about. No one whom she just met or work with know she's truly like this. Though, she means no harm she could still seem rude. As Kiki walked she kept her eyes and ears peeled. Looking and observing everything around her.

Just then a noise was heard in the jungle. It sounded like several clicking joints we're coming this way. Arthur wasn't sure what it was, but was hoping it wasn't dangerous.

Zaire heard the noise as a soft growl came from her throat and her eyes dilated.

Stopping Kiki felt frozen in place. "What was that?" Kiki asked, her voice barely a whisper. "You know what, let's just keep going and not find out." Kiki said as she shook her head. No matter what the cause was she just wanted to go, go anywhere. Anywhere didn't matter as long as she was capable of getting back with her sister. Sighing, Kiki pinched herself trying to calm her nerves anyway possible. Kiki just wanted to be with her sister but, nonetheless that seemed to be impossible.

As the noise grew louder, the creature came out and it was a 3 foot Arthropleura, a prehistoric millipede. Arthur said "Don't panic, it won't hurt us. It eats rotting plant matter."

Zaire stopped growling at it but she still looked at it,warily.She then frowned at Kiki as she tilted her head.

"Whatever, let's just go." Kiki said as she continued walking passed the creature. She wasn't afraid of it and didn't have any intention to bother the creature. Looking at her bag she gently bounced the items inside by gently shaking the bag. Looking at the bag with a frown. Kiki just shook her head and walked ahead of the rest.

Arthur walked passed the Arthropleura, staring at how interesting it was to see an arthropod that large in the modern day. Of course he didn't deviate from following but he kept his guard up. For now it's a herbivore, but what if next it's a carnivore? He thought.

Faire walked past it as she stared at it for a second before following them.

Kiki stopped and turned around looking at then she crossed her arms, huffing gently. "Where to next?" Kiki asked looking around and about. They walked in the same direction for a while now. They can't just keep going and expect to find something a head of them. They might as well be asking for a death wish. Kiki sighed and looked up at the treetops. Small rays of sunlight found their way through the leaves of the canopy. Kiki looked down at her bag clenching onto the strap tightly.

Arthur looked at the map he gave Zaire and said "If I'm reading this map correctly and I'm probably not, if we go east from here, there is a clearing with adequate water to make a shelter."

Zaire nodded her head to his decision"Sorry if I'm too quiet,I have alot of things going on in my head right now.."

Kiki sighed and began walking in the direction Arthur had mentioned. A lot of thoughts and anxiety filled her head. She sighed and pinched herself gently for her to be able to focus. Kiki did everything in her ability to keep her mind off her sister. She just worried for her and needed to communicate with her. It feels and seems she'll go insane eventually. Kiki walked a few feet ahead of the rest. She kept herself at s distance not wanting their help or them to worry at the pained expression on her face. This is hell. This is hell. This is the worst thing ever. I need to talk to her. I need to communicate with her. Kiki thought a little at panic. She rolled her eyes at her thoughts, shook her head and focused on walking.

Arthur noticed something appeared to be bothering with Kiki, but he wasn't sure of what it was. He was hoping she would be okay and keep her cool. He thought Maybe it's the stress of having to survive on an island of extinct predators and giant bugs getting to her.
