Pearl raised her tail, pointed her ears forward, and looked at the other nekos with authority, which is the wolf way of showing dominance and she has been using wolf body language her entire life. She didn't understand what the other wolf was trying to do but she answered, "Yes I must."

Riley watched the creature slink away into the shadows of the forest. He kept his bow aimed at that spot. He allowed himself to glance at the woman, irritated with her attitude. She seemed to be hostile. Then again, they both did have their weapons out. Tail bristling, the tall fox started to leave the smaller's side, making his way towards the shadows. He saw a figure moving in them, though he didn't know if it was the same creature he had been watching.
Foxy's ears flicked as the she wolf advanced towards him and Riley. She seemed to be using body language. He didn't understand it, though- he was raised more human-like than not. Realizing his sword would be useless, he tucked it away, his red eyes glowing in the sunlight. "I'm Foxy," he chirped. "The tall dude is Riley--" He paused, trying to act tough. He growled at her. "What is YOUR name?" -
Shadow sable snapped at the human as a warning before he started moving closer to the female nekos kill. He growled softly and then slipped out of the darkness, grabbing a leg
