Michael heard the bell ring, signaling the end of class and he gathered his things, then walked outside. It would be break time and he would have to explain things to Jasper. It was going to be tough, and hard, but it had to be done. Michael walked out of the hallway and headed toward the court yard, were everyone was gathered outside.

Jasper was kicking around a soccer ball while joking around with some of his friends. "So the guy comes up to me and.." He looks over his shoulder and See's Michael. "...Aye Michael!" His stops kicking the ball and runs up to Michael

Michael looks at Jasper with a smile. "H-hi." he said, as he slightly waves toward Jasper. His heart was racing and it felt like he was a balloon about to pop. How would he tell Jasper that he liked Kei, more than he liked him? So many thoughts were running through his head that none seemed reasonable. Maybe he should blurt it out and tell him. Michael paused for a moment and gave Jasper a hug, then smiled.

Jasper blushed. "So uh what's up?"

Michael looked at him as he ran his hand through his hair. "Nothing really." he said, as butterflies filled his stomach. "Uh, Jasper. Can I tell you something?" Michael let out a deep sigh.

Jasper frowned."Yeah?" He was nervous. This seemed like a scene from a movie

"I-I have a crush on Kei." he said, letting out a deep sigh of relief. It felt like a great burden had just bee lifted off of his shoulders. "So, er..." he said, looking around. It seemed as if the world had stopped and suddenly went into slow motion. Micheal didn't like the feel of this. It felt bad, really bad.

Jasper's heart was tied in a knot and his stomach was in a whirl. "K-k-kei? You like him more than me!?" Jasper's chest tightened as he ran away leaving his soccer ball and Michael behind.> How!? How was this possible!? He's.... He's KEI< Jasper thought

Michael watched Jasper walk away and his heart shattered. It wasn't his fault he had a crush on Kei, was it? Micheal looked around as everyone slowly looked away from him and went back to what they were doing before. "I-I didn't mean for this to happen." he muttered as he walked back inside and headed to his next class. The rest of the day went by in a blur for him. IT was like he was in another universe.

Jasper had his head on the table the whole day. >I finally LIKE like someone and they like my best friend. Splendid.<
Kei had been smiling the whole day and was very inspired. His teachers were scared. >Hm.. This is weird -
Michael sighed as he sat in his last class. It felt like everything was a relief to him, but he was still hurt on the inside. If felt terrible to know what he did, but he couldn't stop it. He loved Kei, and he didn't feel the same way toward Jasper. He couldn't hold everything in, but he had to. For his sake, Jasper's and Kei's.

Kei yelled at himself mentally. >You can't get distracted! You were never open to love why are you now! You need to keep focused<
He tapped on his desk with a mean face on.
