Calix was suddenly getting angry but he knew he couldn't do anything. "Edith. Please make me the happiest person and be with me!" he pleaded. "I don't have time for this non sense!" Edith exclaimed. She pulled her hand away and walked off.
Emerald was back at the tower and pacing back and forth. She heard the door open then Edith walked in. "Edith, where have you been? I've been worried sick about you!" she said. "I was talking with Calix." she said. "Calix? Honey, you should go with that boy. He is very lovely and independent." Emerald said. "No mother. Calix is a friend not a mate." Edith said. -
Al-Gaul got up and walked around his cell throwing things around. He was so angry that he ended up throwing the biggest anger-induced spell. Although the spell stopped everything on the outside, but in the inside he could use as much magic as wanted. "Let me plea, or I will get out of here and kill everyone. Your choice." He started using his spells but could not think of one to take out the magic wall.

Edith walked away from her mother. She stopped noticed that everything all of a sudden became quiet. "What is going on?" she turned around to see her mother frozen. She walked out the door and went to the prisoner.
"You want to speak for yourself. Okay, speak now." Edith said. "If you come up with a good explanation of why you want to destroy Lotus, you will be freed but you will be sent back to the Underworld. You can never come back or you will die." She said. "Speak now. Or hold your pea - well your rage." she said. -
"There is no good reason other than I want a life, and thanks to your little giverment I can not even walk three steps to get a pencil." He said in an angry tone. "That may not be a good explanation for you little miss perfect, but to me to get a new life I whould destroy anything. Because I have not had a life to live." He laughed a sarcasstic laugh. "When you want to work something out then come see me."

"So you would destroy Lotus, to have a life?" Edith asked, crossing her arms. "I'm not perfect at all. Just because I live in Lotus, I'm not perfect." she said. "I'll let you go, but if I do, you have to stay here in Lotus and become one of us." she said.
She looked at him and slid her hand in between the rails to shake on it. "Deal?" she asked.
