Allison smiled and went to introduce some people to Marissa. She went into the kitchen first and introduced her to Marcus. "This is Marcus. He's the unsocial one." she teased.

"Hey." He said unenthusiastically. "Apparently not wanting to talk to family members makes me unsocial.

Marissa smiled. "Hi...I'm Marissa!" she said, shyly. She giggled at his comment to Allison. "Yes." Allison said.

"Hi im Marcus." He extends his hand out.

Marissa took his had and shook it. "Well, I'll leave you two to talk!" Allison said and left.

"Oh good" Marcus thought to himself. "So where you from?"

"Las Vegas...you?" Marissa asked. "You don't seem like you wanna talk to me? If you want me to leave, I can!" she said pointing to the living and taking steps back.

"No its fine, i just dont talk to many people around my age." "And im from San Diego"

"Is it a bad thing?" she asked. "Cool. I don't really get to talk to people from other places.".

"Nah and same all of my friends are from that area so not a whole lot of diversity."

Marissa nodded and smiled. "Well....umm..." she stuttered and looked around.

"Are you bored of me already?"

"No. It's just...there's nothing to talk about between us!" she said. She smiled and looked at him.

"Well what do you want to talk about?"

"I don't know, what do you wanna talk about?".
