  Jake was sitting up, staring at a tube in his arm. That was the only attached to him, and he looked up when jade entered. eyes lighting up, "mommy!"

  Jade beamed, brightening as she went to her baby. Placing kisses all over his face. "Jakey. Oh my little gem! You scared me so bad..." She hugged him as gently as she could as she nuzzled him and kissed his head.

  Jake nodded, and wiggled over to make room. He was so little in such a big bed. It was cute in a sad way.

  Jade smiled, sitting down with him. Careful of the tube as she wrapped her arm around her son. Yawning as she rested against him lightly, closing her eyes. "Mommy loves you...."

  Jade found this strange....she didn't know what to make of it in her sleep muddled mind. Maybe....Jake didn't REALLY have autism and was just slower at developing! It was a hopeful thought....
