(Sorry about that, the internet at my house disconnected last night)
Andrew smiled and let out a slight chuckle. "It was all your idea." he said, walking toward the training room. "Tell the others that they need to be at the training room within the hour. If you don't know where it is, their will be signs around to show you were to go." he chuckled, and then muttered. "If the Dauntless born haven't took them down." -
English NewbieHe started to follow after you, sort of like a puppy. His eyes shining like a dog's excitement too. He paused, then nodded and turned. Several people jumped when Jake spoke, "Get your asses up and ready! We need to be in the traing room in one hour sharp! Come on, get up!" he started yanking off people's blankets, suddenly very serious about the matter. The initiates probably had never gotten up so fast in their lives, eyes wide. Jake was loud and very authoritive.for a former Amity. He turned, going to the hall.....and trying to find his way to the training room. Andrew was close in his prediction, though Jake didn't know it. The Dauntless born switched around the signs.

Andrew finally made his way to the training room and waited for the initiates to arrive. About an hour had passed when he realized the Dauntless born must have taken town the sign and then it down on him, the signs were switched. "How did I not notice this before?" he said, walking out of the room and following the signs till he found the group of initiates near the chasm and Eric was talking to them. "Oh no." he said under his breath as he stayed still. He wasn't on good terms with Eric, so he would rather stay out of this one. The best thing he could do was just sit their and watch onward.

English NewbieJake had felt confident as he strolled through the halls, head high and following the signs that, in the most cheesy way anyone could muster, would lead him back to the love of his lif--woah, hold on Jake. We're not that far yet, calm down. Okay....so back to Andrew. When he and the other initiates found themselves at the chasm, with no other sides to follow, they all looked confused out of their minds, peering into the pit. Jake didn't see Andrew, but maybe he was just taking a long way. Was there a long way? "Um, what are we--" "A note!" an initiate called. Jake pushed forward and took the note from a small Abnegation girl, he could tell by the eyes. "Says,"he spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. "Final test of initiation......" a long, long pause, "....those who can survive the chasm jump....." Jake swallowed a lump in his throat, going pale. "Is truly.......Dauntless." Was this some kind of sick joke? Do Dauntless joke when it comes to this? There was an outburst of protests, maybe even a sob or two. Jake didn't want his reputation of 'first jumper' anymore....
(Besides being an a--hole and stabbing holes in every part of my face, I don't know how to be Eric soo... XD) -

Andrew looked onward as Jake read the note and Eric sneered at them. "He can't do this." he said, gritting his teeth together and stepping out from the shadows. "ERIC!" he yelled, as he watched the older male jump ever so slightly. "Ah, I see you have finally done something correct in your job." Eric said rubbing his hands together. The grin on Eric's face told the whole story. He was going to make someone jump across the chasm even if they didn't want to. Andrew rolled his eyes. "I always do my job, unlike some ass like you decides to interfere." Andrew said walking over to Eric and standing in front of the initiates. "No one is jumping across the chasm or in the chasm, clear?" he said, as many people in the small group shook their heads and sighed with relief. "NOT so fast!" Eric said with a menacing tone. "Someone is going to jump across that chasm, today." he said scanning the crowd in front of him.

English NewbieJake sort of just....dropped the note, his hands trmbling which was a sign of weakness so he quickly stuff them into his pockets. He was glad Andrew interferred, otherwise half the initiates, maybe including himself, would be dead....many feet below into the water. The whole lot of initiates watched the two authoritive figures bicker, their tension the only thing felt in the slightly cramped space. Everyboy looked nervously to their neighbor, whispering about who would have to jump. Maybe....coughing wasn't a good idea, thought it was by accident, as Eric,s steely eyes landed on him....Jake may have come off as relaxed with his ands in the shorts pockets.

Eric looked at Andrew and then Jake. "You there, the one who jumped first. Come here." Eric said very bluntly. Andrew watched Jake and he shook his head. No one had ever survived a jump across the chasm and even if they did they wouldn't want to live to tell the tale. Andrew looked down at his feet and stepped forward. "I'll jump, not him." he said, putting on a brave face and Eric shook his head. "Fine Andrew, at least you're not a p---- like the rest of these...initiates." he said as Andrew stood near the edge of the chasm. -
English Newbie(Oh, Insurgent didn't make me cry. I got more frustrated while reading it than anything else really.)
Jake's heart froze multiple times throughout that exchange, but he came forward anyway. Eric did intimidate him, but only slightly. He didn't /want/ to jump, but if it came down to it...hey, he might as well. Another heart freeze as Andrew took his place, "Wh---..." he stopped himself. He didn't take very kindly to be called a p---- , therefore causing him to clench his fists, teeth gritted, mouth set it a firm line. "You know what." Heart freeze as he went over to his trainer, Andrew, and immediately threaded his fingers through the others. Jake didn't dare look at anything except Andrew, face somehow becoming slightly red and he got that fluttery feeling, even while standing over the chasm. "We will do it together." he said confidently. -

Andrew opened his eyes in shock. "Wha-....are you sure?" he asked as he looked Jake in the eyes. He could see a fierce determenation in Jake's eyes and he smiled. It made him think of himself when he had first came to Dauntless, but their was something different about Jake. Jake had a fierceness that no one knew about, not even himself.

English NewbieJake nodded fast, clutching your hand a little tighter. "Yes." His heart was pounding heavily in his chest, but he didn't show it in the open. He smiled, and the dimples that were never really noticed before....were noticed now. "What do you say?" he was blushing......somewhere under that pale face as he stood on the edge with you.
