Vincent heard more voices and then the door at the top of the stairs creeked, making him lift his head

Midnight backed up before she rammed through it and tumbled down the stairs as she yelped.

Vincent cringed as the door was broken down by a large wolf

Midnight slowly got up as she grunted and shook out her fur.

Vincent stared at her with half open eyes, his body shaking slightly

Midnight blinked as she saw him before slowly walking closer.She then looked at the chains on his wrist.

Vincent hissed weakly at her, but it was simply an instinctive reaction. He knew that she could kill him easily

Midnight frowned.

Vincent started falling unconscious again, his eyes sliding shut as his body went limp

Midnight gently broke the chains off as she tilted her head.

Vincent half curled in a ball, shivering

Midnight turned human as she reached into her cloak and pulled out a bag full of blood.

Vincent slowly looked at her, his eyes glowing softly when he saw the blood

Midnight held it towards his mouth.
