Duskull and Mari had their Attack stats dropped. Jeremy said "Duskull, use Leer." He did that.

Chimera use Tackle!" She called to her Pokemon and it copied it's earlier move.

" Mari do-" Tess began but was folate " Use defense curl!" -
Lunarise grinned "axew us tackle on Mari!

(Leer affects both opposing Pokemon in a double battle, just like Growl.)
Jeremy said "Duskull, use Night Shade to stop Axew." He did just that. -
( that. Only counts in the anime while we are going by the rules of the game for battles sorry)
" Use tackle on Mari!" Lyra commanded the Eevee did so and Mari fainted . She was recalled. -
Axew Dodge the attack and lunarise frowned

Jeremy was in a bind, no teammate and his opponents were still standing. He said "Duskull, use Night Shade again on Axew."
(Night Shade actually affects both opposing Pokemon and ally Pokemon in a double battle but because Eevee is Normal type it only affects Axew.) (This is according to Bulbapedia.) -

" Tackle on Duskull!" Lyra commanded and Eeve did that.
( does normal even affect ghost O-O if it doenst can we just say just for this battle that it does because otherwise teh battle won't end as Eevee can't affect Duskull and Duskull can't affect Eevee) -

Duskull turned his attention to Chimera and Jeremy said "Use Leer." He did it.

" Eevee use tackle!" She commanded.

lunarise picked up axew

Dusksull got hit by the Tackle dead on and fainted. Jeremy said "Aw man."

Lyra grinned as Eevee leveled up. " Level six all right!" She grinned.

Theresa smiled and shook both of their hands " Let's get to the Pokemon professor and get our Pokemon healed"
