I started a group soaps with high hopes for it.However, the majority of the participants left. I'm opening spots for about four people if anyone is interested. The soap will continue on the spot it's in, but you will be added into the posting roster and we'll find a way to include your character into the soap if you're interested.
"Species from various points across the world gather once every year to sit beneath a large tree they call Seimei, or 'Life.' They were told not to take from the tree. Not a single branch, leaf, fruit, flower, or anything of the sort was to be plucked from Seimei, for the tree protected their souls from the Devil. And so it came to be that none did anything of the sort, not even the most mischievous faerie or the most cunning child of the night. A soul never harmed their great tree for fear of meeting the Devil and feeling emotions that only humans felt. However, good things never stay, and the firstborn child of the Devil killed Seimei himself.
They say he shoved his way through the crowd of magical beings, barreled his way past the guardians, and stood at the very roots of Seimei. For the first time, people were uneasy, and as the child reached up and tugged off a single, blooming flower, fear spread out through everyone like a contagious disease. The last thing anyone saw of the tree was the flowers turning to black, the leaves falling one by one, the fruits decaying within seconds, and the small boy turning and smirking before the tree died. With the fall of the great tree, feelings like unhappiness, sorrow, pain, weakness, fear, depression, and other feelings fell through everyone. The invisible barrier that everyone had that came from Seimei's power was broken like glass that had been smashed against a wall. Species turned on each other like man. For the first time, words held power.
Fortunately, Seimei's power was not completely lost. A single seed from a dying apple had fallen to the floor. The demon child had it stowed away, unaware of its powers.
Hundreds of years after this incident, magical beings still live in fear of a stronger being. Demons have much of the control over them. You (your character) have been born into this world, yet, you have no fear of the Devil or His children. Do you seek to become a half-demon and have all of the riches of the magical world, or do you seek to regain the seed stolen from your people and grow a tree that will bring peace from sins?

Now that you've read all of that, have more for you to read!
1. Do not join this if you plan to drop out. I repeat, don't join and make this another lost group soap. I haven't had a group soap go on very far because after one person leaves everyone else gives up. It's very sad for me and I'm attempting a group soap for the first time in a few months. Make this experience fun for yourself and for others!
2. I ask for moderate ability in grammar and punctuation. You don't have to be an excellent writer, but I have more fun with people who don't tipe leik dis 2 sav time!!1!
I'll pull more out of my butt if I see anything else that bothers me.
Here's the character form. Yes you can use pictures for your character, I don't mind. Don't worry about a backstory, we want to learn about that in the soap!
