C1, a prince from a country made completely of islands, appears in C2's royal court one day to request his help. C1's country is experiencing a plague, one that has only just started ravishing C2's kingdom. The island prince knows of a myth about a cure that lies in the far away land of Ryiun, but the only way to retrieve it is to be one of royal and noble blood. C1 would go, of course, but they don't have enough men or supplies to get them there. In return for C2's help and resources, C1 will share the cure with them, and surely save the kingdom. C2 insists on making the journey with C1, if only to ensure one of them will make it to the cure- After all, many dangers await them on their travels.
The most dangerous thing of all, though, is themselves.

Due to take the throne at any time, the young prince is viewed by his people as too young and too fragile to ever be a successful king. He's determined and very smart, but he does have much too soft a heart and hates the idea of ever harming anyone. The quest is his idea of how to prove himself to his people. -

He's always followed in his father's footsteps from a young age- the kind heart and strong body. To be fearless in the eyes of others. Even with the plague starting to take over the citizens, he doesn't seem to be afraid, and only wants to help those suffering, to prove himself worthy. -
