Angelique sighed and leaned back on the couch, waiting patiently.

Cole looked around the attic until he found what he was looking for. He came back to the living room and said "I have something for you, close your eyes."

Angelique nodded and obediently closed her eyes. "Okie."

Cole took out a necklace with a heart pennant on it and put is around Angelique's neck. When he was finished he said "Open your eyes."

Angelique linked and looked at the necklace, her eyes wide. "W-what is this for...?"

Cole said "My caretaker said it belonged to my mom and was given to her by my dad. She gave it to me and said to give it to the one I love."

Angelique blushed and smiled slightly and stood, hugging him. "I'll never take it off."

Cole hugged her back and said "I knew you'd like it."

Angelique smiled more. "I love it." She kissed his cheek softly.

Cole smiled and kissed her back.

Angelique lied her head on his chest.

Cole put his hand on Angelique's head and held her other hand.

Angelique closed her eyes, completely relaxed for once.

Cole started petting her head.

Angelique giggled and looked up at him.
