Angelique looked up at him. "Are you okay?"

Cole lied and said "I'm fine. Really I am." He wasn't fine, he felt like the image will haunt him.

Angelique gently touched his arm. "You don't look fine... If you're scared, just squeeze me. I'm right here for you."

Cole felt as if he had no choice now. He was getting too scared and started to squeeze Angelique. -
It's fine, neither will I.)
Angelique blushed but kept watching the movie, her hand on his arm gently. -
(I'm back. Miss me?)
Cole was still trying to be brave, but he wasn't sure if he was being that at all. -

Angelique sighed as the movie ended with its scariest jumpscare. -
(It's okay.)
Cole said "I'm sorry. I should have told you I don't handle horror movies well. I'm a coward." -
Angelique giggled. "Well, if it takes horror movies to get you to hold me like that, expect them more often."

Angelique nuzzles into him. "I was just kidding."

Cole said "Okay. I'm sorry for ruining the movie for you."

Angelique laughed. "You didn't ruin it. I liked it even better."
