Those dreams that you have of flying or escaping in any manner were always the ones that frequented Amelia's mind as she worked, that sense of freedom was something she was glad to have here at her shop and home as she watched the business day wind down. Of course there weren't many people needing anything fixed lately so maybe that was just a good thing. She leaned her head against her hand as she looked around the room with a lazy look in her eyes as she tried to figure out what to do at the moment so she seemed busy, sneezing slightly and getting that feeling that someone was talking about you somewhere else crawled over her. But that was a myth...right? She shook her head as some loose strands of purple hair fell into her face, causing her to glare at them.

Prince Lachlan was impatiently tapping his foot as he waited for his attendant to arrive back from his short break. He was a bit furious for numerous of reasons, but only one bothered him the greatest. Right before the attendant Wilkerson left, he was told that he should probably seek a girl because they thought that would be best, but he waved it off. Surprisingly, he wasn't interested. He was a bit greedy with his power and he didn't wanted it to waver. Of course that changed when a commoner visited him. He had stood up from his seat and approached the male with no class. "Why is someone like you in here?" Lachlan asked. The commoner looked a bit nervous by the prince's tone.
"If you're looking for someone.. There's this girl you might be interested in," he started. The prince pucker his lips and furrowed his brows. "Who?"
"She has purple hair.. Her name is Amelia."
On the other end, in a neighboring country, Prince Victoro was just about done with his daily paperwork. He decided to take a walk for some fresh air with a friend accompanying him afterwards. -
In the end Amelia was about ready to close the shop when she glanced over near the west, past the walls and towards the forest. She hadn't been to her special place in weeks because of work and...she shook her head, she shouldn't be worrying about that place. She was close to the window where she could flip the sign to say closed when she noticed something. People a small group, large enough to seem like a welcome party for a criminal were walking down to her shop. She huffed lightly, fixing her hair into a tight pony tail as she waited, slightly wondering what they wanted here at a time like this.
-
The prince stepped back as if the words of the commoner startled him. With his forearm up to his mouth, he slowly mumbled, "Come again?" He didn't know whether the man was just lying to get away, but why would he lie? If he's lying.. He knows what I will do if he is..! What are his motives?! Lachlan thought to himself. Finally, the man spoke. "Amelia.. I don't know her last name, but Prince Lachlan..!" He crawled over to the feet of the young prince and hastily bowed down before him. "She really does have purple hair! I swear on everything that I have! She works at this small shop near by! I watch her everyday." And thus, Lachlan grew curious. A girl with a rare hair color.. If I can just make her mine..
-
Of course the group passed by, revealing them to be a group of drunk young idiots. She sighed lightly and flipped the sign to closed and started to clean the shop which included getting rid of the dust that accumulated during the day and...the place just needed cleaned in general. She hummed lightly and as she grabbed the broom from the other end of the room and started sweeping, collecting the dust in one little pile in the center, but stopped when she heard a loud clanking noise from the other room, causing her to drop everything and rush into the smithing room. It was one of her stupid oven she used to heat up the metal. She picked up a large piece of metal that hadn't been forged and slammed it against it. "You stupid old piece of...urgh!" she growled at it before making sure it was turned off properly. She'd deal with it tomorrow. It wasn't worth it.
-
The first thought that appeared in the head of the greedy spoiled prince was fortune. If he could get get the girl to be his mistress, he'll be successful. He'll have everything. Lachlan grinned and the commoner was taken away. He didn't bother to thank him, or give him anything in return. That's how crual and selfish the prince was. He walked over to the window that overlook everything in his kingdom and he smiled vaguely. "Wilkerson," he started without turning around to face his attendant just now walking in from his break. "I need you to send someone to find a girl."
-
After beating the oven senseless and finally was able to turn it off. She noticed through most of it her hair came loose from her pony tail and get some soot on her hair. She sighed a bit and knew that a bath was needed when she was fully done as she started to sweep up the soot off the floor from her battle with the oven and huffed. If only she had the money to actually get a new shop and a new oven or hell even getting out of this place sounded better for her. But...she couldn't leave this place. She was raised here, grew up here and maybe would stay here all her life until she trained someone else to take her place. She sighed and she walked out of the smithing room, thinking of what to eat.

"A girl?" Wilkerson asked, a bit baffled his prince was talking about this. He tried to study Lachlan's expression but it was impossible. The prince still had his back to him. Wilkerson stood tall as Lachlan continued. "Her name is Amelia. Her surname is unknown to me though." He slowly pivoted, hands behind his back and the attendant was surprised to see his face. He was grinning like he had fallen in love, but Wilkerson knew his prince too well to know that was a wrong assumption. The man knew Prince Lachlan wanted something else. But what? Why does he want this girl named Amelia?
