Machigai blinked and sighed, creating a portal and stepping through in order to get some food for him.

Skotadi rolled over in his sleep

Machigai returned about ten minutes later and placed the food on the nightstand.

Skotadi twitched again

Machigai frowned and, worried he was becoming ill, felt his forehead in search of a fever

Skotadi was slightly feverish

Machigai sighed and walked out, getting a rag and dampening it before coming back and sitting on the bed next to him, dabbing his forehead.

Machigai frowned and lightly shook him. "Hey... Wake up... You need to eat..."

Skotadi slowly woke up

Machigai stood and grabbed the tray of food. "Here. Eat up. You have a fever and need your strength.

Skotadi slowly sat up so he could eat

Machigai placed the tray in his lap as she walked to the window once more, embarrassed.
