Tamashi jumped slightly before looking up at him" hm?" He said, tilting his head slightly

"Your wearing that jacket inside. Why do you always wear that jacket Tamashi? Its not even cold outside" Tamashi's father said with a sigh as he leaned his left hand against the door frame wall.

Tamashi looked down at the jacket, running his fingers over the worn cloth. "Its the only thing I have from before the fire" he said quietly

"Okay" Tamshi's father said as he looked away. He always felt weird whenever a word was mentioned about the fire.
"Just making sure" he said as he turned around and started walking off. Tamshi's father stopped."And don't forget that you are going to bed at 10:00 tonight. Tomorrow is a big day. The house-warming party the neighbor's are throwing is tomorrow. I hope you can make some new friends." He looked at his watch."Five more minutes" he said before walking off to downstairs. -
Tamashi huffed softly" as if" he said before he grabbed his pjs and went to the bathroom to get changed. He walked back to his room and put his jacket on the bed before laying besides it

Tamshi's mother walked up the stairs."goodnight Tamashi" she said before she turned off the light and closed the door.

Tamashi sighed softly and ran his fingers over the cuts on his arms

"Such a shame. Tsk tsk tsk." Said the voice.

Tamashi shot up, looking around

"You humans are gifted with soft wonderful flesh and what do you do? You burn it. You dirty it. You cut it up. It is really just such a shame." Said the voice

Tamashi looked around" whose there" he said

"I am the very essence of insanity. You can call me V. As in Voice." Explained the voice

Tamashi tilted his head slightly" odd name....

"Talking is not the only thing I can do though"
Suddenly a water bottle flew across the room and hit the wall -
Tamashi stiffened slightly
