Najika covered her ears and squeezed her eyes shut, trying not to freak out, though her heart was pounding and she was nuzzled snugly into his side, trembling.

Soon they arrived. The world was steaming hot and looked of darkness and fiery doom. Volcanoes surround every area, lava flowing everywhere as dark creatures lurked around. Kiko held Najika close, as the screaming of the tortured souls died down. He then shook his head.
"Phew. Now to pass the bridge." He laughed nervously. -
Najika removed her hands and gulped, suddenly glad she wore a skirt. She nodded and looked around, eyes wide. "H-hey, Kiko? T-there aren't any Iccubuses here, are there...?" She asked nervously

Kiko thought about it for a moment then slowly nodded.
"A lot actually." He replied with a crack in voice. If Taihara stays by us... he could help protect us, right?
As if reading his thoughts, Tahara sighed.
"I'll stay and make sure the underworld creatures don't come too close." He mumbles.
"Thank you." Kiko replies with a smile as he starts to cross the hot stoned bridge.
"Uhm. The stone is hot. Very hot..."He thinks then picks up Najika and carries her so her feet won't melt off. -
Najika squeaked in surprise as she clung to him, her cheeks dark red from embarrassment. "W-warn me next time!" She stammered, shyness in her voice.

"Haha, alright... you don't want your feet melted off though, right?" He held her close. Kiko continued walking across the bridge, Taihara following behind.
"If i remember correctly... skull valley is to the east." Kiko thought out loud, taking one step at a time. -
Najika puffed her red cheeks, and hid her face in her hands. She didn't move from her position for a solid ten minutes.

Now across the endless bridge of fire, Kiko set Najika down and glanced around. He then sighed as he noticed a cluster of demons surrounding a vampire girl. The girl seemed to be wanting to get away.
"Ahh, i forgot how irrational the men can be towards the females here at times." Kiko grumbled.
Taihara blinked before yawning.
"Well, you can't help it." He replied.
The vampire girl screamed out as the demons grabbed her. Who knows what they were going to do to her.
"Gaaah. I can't take this." Kiko sighed as the good of him took over. He then darted over to the scene hoping to stop it.
"There goes the little rescuer." Taihara smiled a little standing by Najika.
"He likes to save people. He hates seeing anyone in misery. He's a good one." The vampire watched as Kiko fought against the other demons.
"It should be an easy task for him to be honest. Those are low level demons."
"Thank you..." The vampire girl spoke out as Kiko was done taking out the last demon.
"Yeah... be more careful." Kiko responded with a sigh as he slowly headed back. I'm lucky those were low leveled... high leveled would have doomed me. -
Najika smiled and nodded in agreement. "He's so kind... he saved me... that's why I love him with all my heart." She blushed slightly as she admitted that to someone else, but her heart fluttered in joy. Truth be told, a small part of her was jealous of the beautiful vampire...

Kiko, knowing that Najika was a tad jealous, smiled at her.
"You're more beautiful than anything." He gave her a kiss on the cheek. His eyes shined his normal yellow as he stared at her.
"Now... we should get going before those demons wake up wanting revenge." Kiko nervously laughed.
"Agreed." Taihara said so they'd keep moving towards Skull vally. -
Najika blinked and her cheeks turned blood red. Her mouth was open as she tried to speak, but she couldn't form words so she just closed it and looked at her feet, beyond embarrassed.

As they slowly walked away from the area they were in, they came into a small forest. All the trees were dark and black. No sign of true life.
"Hm. Just as pretty as I remember it." Kiko said admiring the forest to which he used to hang around in all the time. Glancing around, Kiko noticed something. A black rose... He smiled prancing over to it. He then bent down and picked it up, examining its beauty of darkness.
"Perfect." He stood up and walked over to Najika. He held out the rose. He wanted to at least make this whole situation lighten up. Even if it was in hell, he'd still be a romantic demonic neko.
"For you, my love." He said with a purr in his voice. -
Najika blushed and smiled slightly as she gingerly took the rose. "Thank you, Kiko." She kissed his cheek gently and gently put it in her hair.
