Muse B
Name: Riketsu Transoba
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Very shy, quiet, introverted, he keeps to himself and tends to be very lonely. His past messed him up leaving him to be mostly depressed. His parents died when he was 15, leaving him to fend for himself. Though, through hard times, he made it work. He has no friends due to his anti social manner. The only escape he has to life is through books. He'll go through a book a day if he wanted to.

(I'll start ^~^)

Cythia pulled back the curtain to her house and gazed across the street at the home-made library at the end of Riketsu's property. "Should I go over there? There might be some books I'm interested in over there." she thought. Cythia closed the curtain and walked to the front door, putting her hand on the door-knob. For her, this was do or die, now or never. She turned the knob and opened to door as she ran across the street. When Cythia reached Riketsu's place, she finally realized how many books he had.
"Wow!" she said, a bit over-excitedly. Cythia gazed at the titles and finally picked up one. The title was 'The Thirteenth Reality'. "This seems interesting, she said as she picked up the book and wrote something on a sticky note and left it for Riketsu. The note said, 'I borrowed your book. I'll return it soon ~Cythia' -
Riketsu was sitting in a large room, a book in hand titled Moonlight Path. He'd only begun the book in the morning, and is now nearly completed. Oh how the story of a romantic couple doing everything together in such a romantic fashion made him feel devastated. He wished for the love his fantasy characters shared. He knew though deep down, with the ways he was that it was a near impossible wish.
"Eh... even if i do get the chance to talk to a female... i'll just screw it up." He mumbled, reading the last word of his book. He closed it rather roughly and gliding his hand across the cover, gazing at the beings on the front. Holding hands, kissing... the scene made him want to sigh. Good book though. He thought, standing up from his chair. The squeak from the leather made him turn to stare at the spot. After a moment, he shrugged slightly. I'll go choose another book...
Walking into his library, he gazed at the books. He tried remembering which ones he read and which ones were waiting to be discovered. Slowly walking to a shelf, he placed the book he just read back and glanced around. What to read now... he asked himself. Aimlessly exploring the endless books, he noticed a piece of paper stuck to his desk. Not recalling it being there before, he went over to examine it.
"Oh-"
After reading it, he smiled slightly. Someone else likes reading I see. He picked up the note.
"Cynthia..." He mumbled, processing the name. Very pretty name. -
Cythia quickly shut the door to her home and flipped to the first chapter of the book. Cythia smiled and walked over to a white padded chair and sat down. This was her type of book. It had a beginning that just hooked your right in. Cythia smiled as she continued to read, her eyes moving back an forth on each page as she was brought into a world of adventure and chaos. Finally, she got half-way through the book and realized she had to go to the grocery store. "Oh god!" she said, as she jumped up, placing the book lightly on the table in front of her. "Now, where did I put my keys?" she asked out loud, as she looked for them.
Cythia looked around everywhere for the keys, but couldn't find them. "Well..." she said, slightly exasperated "I guess no grocery shopping for today." she said, a slight frown on her face, then she remembered the book. I'll finish reading it." she thought as she picked it back up from the table and continued to read.
Cythia finally looked up from the book and time had drastically flew by. It had gone from 1:25 to 7:55. "How?" she asked quizically. Maybe it was because this was the first time in her life that she did something she actually enjoyed. "That was a good book though." she said as she went to head over to the library once more. -
Riketsu, walked around the library organizing some random books. He liked putting things in order. It was a nice calming task. He arranged the books from A to Z, from horror, to romance, he had books of every genre. It pleased him to know that in every book, there was a new story to discover. A new adventure... weather it be through love or horror, the anticipation of waiting what would happen kept him going. The love to scan his eyes upon the pages of every book drove him mad to the point where he'd lose the drive to go outside.
"7:55..." He mumbled, glancing at the clock. He figured he should let sleep overwhelm him but, he decided against it. Why sleep when I can unlock another story? He asked himself, stepping down from a ladder.
Putting away the last book, he yawned. He decided to read another adventure called Red Moon. A horror novel about a boy who ventures into a abandoned home only to find that it is a portal to the underworld that is open only once every red moon. Oh reading the back made Riketsu think up of many things that could happen. Death... love... adventure? What was to be bestowed upon the mind of the reader through this new book!
Running out of his library, he darted towards his room to get started on the new adventure. -
Cynthia smiled as she arrived at the library. The way it looked, Riketsu must have been collecting for years, or that's what it seemed like. "Hmm...what to read next?" she asked, as her fingers slid over each book title with the slightest hint of grace. She finally found one that she had read when she was a bit younger, possibly fifteen. The book was called, 'Pretty Girl 13' and from what Cynthia could remember, it was about this girl who had been kidnapped for 4 years, but she doesn't remember anything. So, this girl developed multiple persona's.
Cynthia smiled and picked up the book and pull out another sticky note. This time it said, Thank you for letting me read a book out of your library. I would suggest 'The Thirteenth Reality' if you are into action and adventure. ~Cynthia She left the sticky note on top of the last book she borrowed and ran back across the street to her house, since it was getting dark. -
Riketsu sat down on his old bed. It was twin sized so it was kind of small. Though, for his small body... it was perfect. He set his book upon his lap and went to turn to the first page. Oh... He stopped as he remembered he left his bookmark in the library. Can't forget that, now can I? He thought to himself while jumped off his bed heading back towards his favorite area.
As he entered, he glanced around for the bookmark. It took a while to locate it but it was found now. Slowly walking over, with the anticipation to head back to his cozy bed, he stopped as he noticed a book with a note on top of it.
"Thank you for letting me read a book out of your library. I would suggest 'The Thirteenth Reality' if you are into action and adventure. Signed... Cynthia-" He read out loud. He then glanced at the book. Then back at the note. Someone... is really trying to talk to me? He asked in disbelief.
He smiled ever so slightly and grabbed a pen. He decided to write back a note. Dear Cynthia... You are welcome. I am glad to know that someone out there loves books like I do. Please... feel free to borrow any book you want. Also- if you like romance... i suggest Moonlight Path. It's one of my favorites. As he was completed with writing the note on the back of the sticky note, he located the book "Moonlight path" and set it down on his desk.
"There..." He stuck the note on it, then grabbed his bookmark and headed towards his room. -
Cynthia flipped through the pages of the Pretty Girl 13 and smiled. It was like reliving old memories, but the excitement was gone as soon as it was there. As she read the first sentence, everything came back to her like and old memory. "I should go get another book." she thought. But then again, she didn't want to feel like she was intruding in Riketsu's personal space. Finally, her longing for a different book over came her fear. Now, it was night-time and she shivered. Before she could go over there, she would need a flash-light to see with. Cynthia walked quickly to her bedroom and found one of the few flashlights she had left and turned it on. Her heart was racing in excitement to see what adventures lay in store for her.
Cynthia walked across the road and shone the flashlight on the pile of books, but noticed something different. There was another book on the pile. On called, 'Moonlight Path'. "This looks interesting." she said, a smiled etched across her face as she picked it up and a piece of paper fell out of it. Cynthia knelt down to pick it up and read it. It said, 'Dear Cynthia... You are welcome. I am glad to know that someone out there loves books like I do. Please... feel free to borrow any book you want. Also- if you like romance... i suggest Moonlight Path. It's one of my favorites.'
Claire nodded as she read the last sentence and folded up the note and put it in her pocket. thank you ~Cynthia, she quickly scribbled on another sticky note, this time leaving it on the table. -
Riketsu dozed off as he was on page 56 in his story. His dreams were filled to the brim of the past adventures he read through. Though, he was curious on if Cynthia replied or not.
No... it's night time. He told himself, setting down his book after placing the bookmark in it. He was very tired now. He wanted to sleep but he also wanted to keep reading.
"Mmmm...." He moaned as he just could not keep his eyes closed. It was a challenge alright.
(My replies are going to be a bit short. I am tired... so yeah. Sorry. :o ) -
Cynthia eyes slowly closed and a smile covered her face. She was swept under-neath a current of dreams and unknown realities. The book she was reading slipped from her hand as she dozed off to sleep.
(Time skip)
Cynthia awoke the next morning, to the sunlight peeking in the window and shining on her face. "Mhn.." she tried to say something, but it ended up coming out in garbled speech. She looked around for the book she was reading last night and found, that it had fell to the floor. "Oh!" she said, a bit suprised to find it there. Cynthia leaned down to pick it up and smiled as she flipped to the page she was on. She would finish the book soon. -
(Adding on)
As Cynthia flipped through the last pages, she realized she didn't want to put the book down. She was on edge, but she was also looking forward to the tiny chat with Riketsu. She smiled as she slipped on her coat and walked toward the library happily. -
