Ayomama really didn't have much to do she might as well get to know her butler and try to become friends with him. Standing Ayomama tried to get the shyness out of her system, at least just for a moment. Taking in a deep breath and slowly exhaling Ayomama made her way to the kitchen. With most of her courage she spoke. "S-so, Alec..what's your hobbies? Since you had asked for mine I might as well ask for yours." Ayomama asked as she had grabbed a stool and rested it near Alec. She sat upon the stool keeping her eyes on Alec's actions.
-
Alec looked back at her and he started washing his hands. He sensed the shyness in her voice and smiled to himself. "You don't have to be so shy. I didn't know a fair lady was supposed to be so shy towards her servant." He smirked at her and began peeling potatoes with a knife quickly. "My hobbies? I prefer...," 'Flying. I prefer flying.' He thought to himself. "Traveling and drawing. Swimming is pretty fun too. Especially at Night, when the sun goes down. I don't exactly have hobbies. I do ton's of thing's and I've grown good skills with them, but I'm not going to bore you with a lecture." Alec brushed hair out of his face and drew a smile. "You like horse back riding? Isn't that something a princess is allowed to do?"
-
"Well, I don't very like talk to people. I see no reason to." Ayomama said giving an honest answer. "Traveling and drawing. Sounds like wonderful hobbies. Swimming at night? Hm, I never tried swimming at nightfall." Ayomama said almost to herself. More the less have I ever tried swimming. Maybe skipping classes just to isolate myself was a bad idea. Though I'm ready for ruling this kingdom. Hopefully all goes well. Ayomama thought closing her eyes. She listened and nodded. "Yes, we have horses but not many. The horses in the horse stables are basically the royal horses though we do not use. I never understood why but I let the horses to themselves. Of course a princess is allowed to go horse back riding. Though I'm different. I go horse back riding rather alone.." Ayomama said. She had noticed her isolation drew her away from ever making close friends and now she would have to rule a kingdom alone. She sighdd and opened one eye upon Alec. "Continue about yourself, Alec. I would like to learn more about you."
-
Alec thought. "You should go horse back riding with me. Hmm. Well, let's see. I'm not a very busy person. I came out of town....Sorta out of town. I promise, that I will be the most determined person you will ever meet. It's actually a huge bad habit of mine. I don't know who my actually parents are. I guess you could somewhat say I have evil stepbrothers. I dunno. I can also tell you anything about this town, I've seen every bit of it from a different point view. What about you? Did you grow up here or move in to the kingdom a long time ago?" Alec glared at her eye's and looked back down to his potatoes.
-
Closing her opened eye she smiled slightly. "That sounds lovely, Alec." Ayomama said nodding. "Well, I mostly grew up away from the kingdom with my father. Though at the moment my father's whereabouts are unknown. About two years ago I met my mother. I was told she was dead and founded my father had kept the secrets of his crown hidden from his own daughter. I was surprised to finding out this information. In most books I had read it was the mother whom had hidden her identity and raised the child not the father. Though, I fear my father might be dead," Ayomama paused as she opened her soft light blue eyes. In her eyes sorrow and pain were showed deeply. "Although, I cannot assume for the worst. I know he'll return to the kingdom soon." Ayomama blinked back the pain showing in her eyes and looked over at what Alec was preparing. Ah, soup something warm to have while reading a good book by the fire. I might as well do that indeed. Ayomama thought with a smile at the delicious soup he was preparing.
-
Alec caught her glancing at the soup. He let out a sigh and a light chuckle. "I've never been one to cook. So, I hope you didn't expect anything impossible to make." Alec nodded and shrugged. He tightened his jaw and thought. "I'm sure your father is okay. If not, maybe he's a guardian Angel or something." He finished the soup. "Does the palace have a curfew? I would like to know when everyone is asleep and I should be asleep too." He questioned her and spooned out soup for her in a bowl. He handed it to her. "Soup for the princess." He slightly bowed. "I'm honored to get to serve homemade soup to such a fancy and formal place." He smiled again.
-
"Not at all, it's nice to have simple soup for once." Ayomama said as she relaxed her nerves a bit. "Actually for most people would be in bed around the late afternoon, so I'm guessing nine the palace will become still and silent. Although, people are still up at the time. Everyone just does their own thing when it comes to curfew." Ayomama chuckled softly taking the bowl in hand. "Ah, no need to be so formal, Alec. I guess it is indeed an honor to serve a member of the royal family." Ayomama responded as she grabbed a hold of the spoon that rested on the edge of the bowl. Picking up the spoon in her hands she had scupped up a small amount of soup. Tasting the soul she smiled as the flavors stayed contained with her mouth. "This is delicious, thank you for the meal Alec." Ayomama said as she repeated her recent actions.
-
Alec watched her and smiled. "Thank you. I'm happy that you like it." He's eyes watched her expression and he leaned against the counter. Alec nodded and thought. He wished she could see his wings. He liked seeing that expression of surprise on people's faces. His emerald eye's studied his appearance and hers. "This castle is pretty cool. Where I grew up," -He paused- "Things were more penitentiary-style. So, I guess I think everything is cool. I'm sorta immune to any place I go." Alec chuckled to himself, probably getting the joke better than she did. His emerald eyes were so confident. However, he always had confident. He wasn't afraid to do anything new and awkward. Alec definitely wasn't an awkward person.
-
Ayomama nodded and took a small bite from her soup. "Well, I would. Even living in a palace now I see everything as amazing as the palace." Ayomama said chuckling to herself. It may seem foolish due to nothing out-beating a palace but to her eyes everything seem special. Ayomama noticed Alec and him being over-confident she felt a bit paranoid. "H-how can yo-you be so con-confident?" Ayomama asked looking up at Alec. "Also, shouldn't you eat? You can't go starving yourself." Ayomama suggested him to eating.
-
Alec raised his eyebrow. "Being confident is a good thing, princess. You shouldn't be so insecure about everything. Live life like it's your last day on earth," He felt himself closing into a box. "Don't worry. I'll eat on my own time, I made this for the people of the castle." Alec nodded and studied her. "Do you have any task for me? I have plenty of time for tasks. I've barely did anything all day and pretty soon it will be dark." He smiled at her and ruffled his hair. He zipped his jacket up and fell silent. His eye's rested on her actions. This mission was already very interesting to him. He was having grand fun
-
"True in a way but not everyone's days come to an end out of the blue." Ayomama said thinking of her insecurity. "Actually, I do I would like for you to help me tend to the palace's garden." Ayoamama said smiling. To her surprise she had finished her meal and stood. Walking over to the sink that had only a simple glass cup within it Ayomama began washing her used items. "What brings you here to become my butler, Alec?" Ayoamama asked curious on the reason why. I wouldn't enjoy being someone's servant so why should he? Ayomama thought soon becoming more paranoid.
-
Alec nodded, feeling calm. He liked to be outside. Being put in a garden felt lovely. "Yes. Sure, I will help you. Do you have a favorite flower?" He questioned her and half smiled. "I personally like anything purple, blue, or a pearl white." Alec's wiped his face. "I don't exactly know what made me want to be your Butler. I've been a Butler for 4 year's before this and I didn't plan on doing it anymore, but money's hard and your soldiers gave me a call. They pretty much begged. Poor men, so I had to come." Alec sarcastically said, with a sly smirk. He crossed his arm's. He motioned for her to lead him to the garden.
-
Once done and placing the dishes near the sink she thought about it. "Hm, my favorite flower will have to be an iris blueberry bliss. They seem so unique and beautiful in everyway." Ayomama said with a bright smile. Ayomama sighed and looked over at Alec. "Well, soon that I'm becoming queen I'll desperately needed someone to do my every task I assign them to do so I won't have to lift a finger" Ayomama said mocking Alec's duty as a butler. "Come along, the garden is this way." Ayomama said leading Alec to the garden through the halls and rooms.
-
Alec followed her to the outside garden, ignoring her mocking him. He observed, taking note of all the types of plants. "Definitely A Queen's garden." He slightly mumbled and put his hand's in his pocket. It was a little chilly out here, but the cool air made him crave the almost night air more. The sun was going down, leaving the sky in a orange color. Alec played with the flower's and watched the sky some more. "Have you ever flew in a plane? It's pretty cool." He was longing for the sky. He shook his head. "Never mind. I'm getting off track. So, what shall I be doing today? Pulling weeds? Fertilizing?" He asked more questions. He didn't mean to ask so many questions, but he had to find out everything he could about her.
-
Ayomama looked over at him and shock her head. "No..but I bet it would be quite a special moment. Being in an unreachable place by man. Ah, I would love to experience being in the sky." Ayomama said responding to him choosing her words carefully. "Well, fertilizing the plants will be more useful. I'll pull out the weeds and water the plants." Ayomama said assign herself more tasks. Ayomama began walking to a small shed that was built near the garden. She walked over to the shed and opened the shed's door. Ayomama took the materials she needed and began her work right away. On a small plot of land was the iris blueberry bliss which was the first flowers Ayomama worked on. Putting the other materials down Ayomama placed garden gloves on her hands. Gazing at the iris blueberry bliss she smiled. Such wonderful flowers need wonderful treatment. Ayomama thought as she bent down into a sitting position and began tending to the flowers.
