In this world humans are very reliant on the Internet and technology.
This shows a great deal at a local highschool in Japan where students are allowed to be on their devices during class time , so long as they complete their work in this time.
In this school there are rumoured to be seven champions of the online reality programme known simply as Cyber, these champions are rumored to sometimes be gods in the game , or for others betas or hackers but no one knows the truth about these seven.
Cyber is a game of skill strategy and chance it scans your mind and supposedly your very own soul this decides who you are in the game.
Of course a month after school starts a man named Gregory David comes to Japan trapping every one inside the game at first it appears that he intends on keeping everyone there.
But he doesn't he releases a majority of earths population ( those without tech were also drug in but we're released )
The aim is simply to destroy this man and his seven for seven whishes.
The seven champions end up meeting and form a reluctant truce and partnership to stop this man.
Of course only a wish can free you from the game but what if Somepeople don't want to leave? -

Sure it's main plot will remain the same but I'll be tweaking it just Beofre I make it open I want to make it a lot simpler and easy to understand ) ( overall eight people are needed) -

Edit :
The man trapped the teenagers of Japan in another dimension where they are not their normal selves instead they are their characters.
If they can defeat the final boss every member of the group who did it will receive one wish ( maximum number seven if the number is below seven wishes are split )
A downside is if your character dies you become one of the many creatures of the dark side.-
