A group of friends are researching and experimenting for other planes of existence, and that's when they stumble upon the idea of interdimensional travel. After researching into that and during a test, all of them lose consciousness. When they wake up, they find that they are in another dimension known as KDP-9, or Aeroth. A beautiful, but dangerous land, Aeroth promises a new life for all involved people. However, Daeus, the capital city of Aeroth, is in the middle of a medieval type war. The friends find out about a corrupt king, and eventually plot to dethrone him.
My character:
Name: Samuel Carter.
Age: 20
Physical description: Average height, shoulder length black hair, ice blue eyes, slim but more powerful than he looks.
Personality: Charismatic, knowledgeable, quick thinking, personable, fair.
Other: Usually wears all black clothing, tends to be the one who overthinks things, hates walking, loves food. -
Name: Shadow Angel.
Age: 19
Description: Around 6 foot two, Flippy grey hair with red streaks, almost white eyes, slim, but if needed, he'll overpower anyone.
Other: Has a Black zip hoodie with a Shadow T-shirt, Black pants, and modified shoes, smart, few words, extremely violent if need be, hates being with too many people, loves his replica of Roy's Blade from Smash 4. -
Secret: Was born with the power to create fire from nothing, uses it rarely.

Samuel Carter stepped out of his dorm room, closing the door behind himself. Strapping his backpack on, he made his way down a set of stairs to the west of his room. At the bottom, he opened the doors that led to the outside and walked over to the mailboxes. Taking his key, he opened his compartment and took out a bunch of junk mail, with a folded envelope. Closing and locking the mail slot, he quickly made his way back to his room, pushing through the gathered mass of people. Entering the room, he pushed everything but the envelope onto the table. "Shadow! You up? I have received the instructions needed for this experiment." -
I groaned, yawning and stretched, before replying groggily. "Aye. I'm up." I jumped out of bed and went to him to start the experiment. As I arrived, an old memory flashed into my head. It was the day I helped him from an old bully who constantly kept harassing him. "Hand your lunch money over, before I turn you into a twinkie." Watching no one come to his aid, I walked in front of him. "Get lost before you burst into flames.", I growled, as I lit a fire in my hand. He ran away, terrified. I smirked and looked towads him. "C'mon. I'll buy you lunch." I smiled, as I walked and tripped over the table. "Fu(k." I hit the couchand stood up.

Taking a small bag out of his backpack, Samuel placed it on the table and ripped open the envelope. Sliding out a folded piece of paper, he unfolded it and read aloud the following note: "To those of you interested in interdimensional travel, heed my words. You must do the following:
Complete all tasks to perfection.
Have all components made readily available.
Keep calm and recite passages with a steady voice.
You must not do the following:
Keep electronics on your person.
Move out of the circle before the fire glows blue.
Have any traumatic or anxiety related diseases.
And the most important thing of all, NEVER forget the place you began the ritual in, for in order to return to this dimension you need to remember what the room looked like.

Samuel dumped the contents of the bag onto the table. "Ready?" -
I nodded. "Ready as I'll ever be."

Samuel nodded and began his work of setting up a big sand circle. Big enough for the both of them to sit in. He then took six candles, placing them around the circumference of the circle, and used a lighter to light all of them one by one. After the last one lit up, the lights went out in the room, but sunlight shone in through the window. The final object, a small, round diamond, was placed in the middle of the circle. "Remember, you can't have any electronics on you. Is your Nintendo 3DS put away elsewhere?" He asked, a hint of excitement glowing within his eyes.
