Shadow sighed and he layed down, staying Away from the bars

Scar finally decided she would say something. "Uh, hey, what's your name?" she asked her voice shaking a bit.

Shadow didn't look at her"shadow Valentine. I prefer being called Valentine though

Scar looked at him a bit puzzled but decided not to ask that question. "Erm, well Valentine, could you hand me that wire that's beside your cage." she said, looking down at her hands.

He blinked slightly and the he carefully slipped his arm threw the bars, careful not to touch th metal, and he grabbed the wire. He tossed it over to her

Scar bowed in a slight recognition and picked up the wire. She bent it in a U-shape and grinned. "This should work." she muttered as she stuck it in the lock and started to open the cage.

Shadow layed back down

Scar finally got the cage to open and looked at Valentine. "Well, do you want out of here?" she said looking at him.

Shadow stared at her for a moment before nodding, getting to his feet. The blanket he had draped over himself fell away, showing off his many scars and fresh wounds on his bare chest

Scar didn't flinch when she saw the scars, after all that was why her name was given to her. Her scars weren't visible, because of her clothing and her fur when she changed. Scar knelt down next to the lock and unlocked the cage.

Shadow carefully pushed the door open and he looked around before coming out of the cage

Scar looked at Valentine. "What's wrong with you and the cages?" she asked, looking around making sure she didn't leave anything behind.

Shadow shook his head" I can't tell the difference between the normal ones and the electrified once I normally get put it, so I'm being careful

Scar nodded and lifted her nose to the air and sniffed. It looked odd for a human to do that but she didn't care. "The exit is that way." she said pointing to the left as she went down that hallway.
