Rosie's eyes widened as she glanced down and saw their hands. "Uh, yeah...." She gasped out and let go as suddenly as she had grabbed on. -
Silver smiled slightly at her and then he looked around the room again

Swimmagurl NewbieProfessor McGonagal (sorry I know I spelled it wrong) stepped out of the doorway and gave the usual speech. Rosie tried to pay close attention, but it didn't make sense exactly. Sorting hat? Like they would pick names out of a hat or something?

Silver looked at her" you alright? " he asked

Swimmagurl Newbie"No... I can't believe that they are drawing names out of a hat to decide our future." She muttered, suddenly furious. "I should be able to choose. This whole chance thing seems so unfair."

Silver grinned" just wait" he said as the door to the great hall started opening
